Rules for Everyone
- All CS rules apply.
- Please do not spam.
- Theft is not tolerated.
- Do not alter designs after you adopt them.
- Respect the creator, owner, mods, and artists of the species.
- Voxxie names cannot be repeated (if a preexisting Voxxie is named Pine, you cannot name your Voxxie Pine).
- Voxxies may be taken offsite. If you do take Voxxies offsite, make sure to credit .Polaris for creating the species and me for owning it. Linking back to these adoptables is preferred, but is not required.
- Only Official Artists can perform breedings/design babies.
- Parents can belong to the same person or they can be from different people. If the parents of the breeding belong to different people, please give proof that the other person agrees to the breeding.
- Only male x female pairings may breed - male x male and female x female breedings are not possible, biologically speaking.
- One to two babies is the norm for one breeding per Voxxie pair, but a third baby is possible, although EXTREMELY rare.
- Both Voxxies MUST be adults to breed.
- Voxxies can mate at any time of the year.
- Pairings must have been mated for at least one week before being able to breed. Their mating must have been stated on the fanclub to be counted as valid.
- One Voxxie pair can breed once every month.
- One Voxxie pair can breed up to seven times. After that point, they cannot breed again.
- Baby Voxxies take at least one month to mature to adulthood, though four months is generally the time frame needed for a child to mature fully.
- PPS Voxxies are EXTREMELY rare and can NEVER breed or age past childhood.
Rules for Artists
- Only Official Artists can perform breedings/design babies.
- Voxxie designs should not be duplicated (as in, no identical twins; if a Voxxie does have twins, they must be different in some way, no matter how small it may be).
- Voxxies should ALWAYS have a neutral-colored or dark-colored base (grey, black, blue-grey, silver, brown, tan, etc.) with brighter markings on top of the neutral-colored or dark-colored base.
- Excessive neon colors are NOT allowed in ANY NEW Voxxies (older Voxxies may not adhere to this rule, as they were made before this rule was put into place).
- If both parents have edits, then the baby may obviously have edits. If only one parent has edits, then the edits on the baby should be minimal.
- Parents can belong to the same person or they can be from different people. If the parents of the breeding belong to different people, please make sure there is proof that both parties agree to the breeding.
- Only male x female pairings may breed - male x male and female x female breedings are not possible, biologically speaking.
- One to two babies is the norm for one breeding per Voxxie pair, but a third baby is possible, although EXTREMELY rare. It is your decision as an artist to give a particular voxxie couple a third baby or not, and is left to your discretion.

What is a Voxxie?
A Voxxie is a small creature, around the size of a rat. They are in fact blind; living deep in under the earth, the need for sight was not necessary with the unfathomable blackness. Regardless of their lack of sight, they are no where near helpless. With their highly sensitive noses, ears and sense of touch, they are able to make their way around quite easily. They usually live in colonies of up to 15 or so Voxxies, although there is no hierarchy; just all living together. They are omnivores, eating whatever is available to them, but they are never cannibalistic. The fluffy hair around their ears and tails is actually a very unique system, the hairs are highly receptive to vibrations and help the Voxxie maneuver in the dark tunnels.
