Her shy, calm, and low IQ personality changed into a very loud, energetic, and playful personality. She is getting along with the other mares, and even wants to hang around the stallions and chat! She has grown around all the horses and myself. She is very unsure about men now, due to her past owner not treating her right.

For instance, she loves to prance around doing high steps and making her legs go high in canter, although she looks lovely, its a strange thing to do. She also likes to roll in squishy, wet mud so that her owner has to clean her and make her shiny again and she always picks her food bucket up and takes it to a special place in her field under a tree where she stands and eats before bringing the bucket back. Originally when Shine started doing these thing, the people at the stable though it was funny and cute but she continued doing it and they came to realise that this was the real shine not that she wanted more attention. Other than her strange ways, Shine is a lovely, gentle and friendly girl who always loves a groom and is perfectly happy to stand still. She has a wonderful jump and takes pride in trying her hardest.

She was always a very smart and highly stubborn horse which is why her training took so long after her capture. She slowly became a bit of a people horse, though she doesn't easily trust men most likely from a past event. When she first started staling things everyone one was confused as to how they lost so many things. Until Thief stole a visitors hat and took it away, someone followed and found a stash of the stolen items. Her thieving nature earned her the show name she has, mixed with the fact that she is " mouse grey). The moonstone part was added for her shining mane/tail and coat.
