She is very quick both mind and body, and will race anything that comes by the pastures, no matter how many times she might lose to a car, she keeps her head high and keeps on trying. Elise enjoys her life, putting it in "full gear" you could say, she isn't one to back down. The minimum she ever gives is her all, and she is unchanging in her stance toward life.

why: I chose this verse because it describes his determination, heart, and commitment. He is an amazing jumper this fellow, he works extremely hard through all kinds of conditions. Even without a rider he can be seen jumping every fence he can find or running around in all his different paces. Practice should be his middle name. His beginning training in particular is the focus of this verse. He sadly didn't know how to do it perfectly he had to learn to fly, receiving small injuries like scratches and heated muscled. Once he finally figured out how to do it right his pains turned to power, launching over jumps of all sizes. He was one determined boy and is completely dedicated to his sport. He is modest in many ways, hating the fawning people who are his fans and being prone to kick a little when being swarmed. With his rider and trainer and at the stable there is nothing he likes more then to socialize. He isn't showy in the least no matter what mare or human stares at him he only walks about, rolls in the dust, and doses in the sun like any other horse. Yes it is ironic that he is rather flashy with his gleaming coat, but his personality is as normal as stone. He is well loved for all his traits.

why: I chose this because as a selfless horse who loves with all her heart she is willing to fight her very religion if she has to for the one she loves. She is sick and tired of going along with her life not being her own and it when it comes to down to turning away from the one she loves or the life she's been forced to live she would rather hold onto the one she loves so that she can say that she lived her life for herself, even if it is just for that moment alone.
