Nino is positively radiant with, well... positivity! She's always having a good time, no matter the place or situation.
More than that, she goes out of her way to make sure others are happy, too, sometimes even going so far as to
sacrifice her own time or money for their benefit.
♣Cheerful
Nino is always cheerful. It's hard to make her upset or sad, except when you insult her friends. Nino believes there is
too much negativity in the world, so she goes out of her way to always appear cheerful in the hopes that others
will follow her example.
♠Kind
Nino is always kind to everyone and everything she meets. She believes in making friends instead of enemies, and
does her best to shower everyone with kindness, even if they don't deserve it. She also tries to leave as small an
ecological footprint as possible, and tries not to disturb animals in their natural environment unless they are severely
injured.
♣Enthusiastic
Nino is very enthusiastic about almost everything. She has the firm belief that she should experience as much of
life as she can, because she doesn't know how long she'll have it. Why would anyone want to be negative in such a
vast world full of things to do?
♠Open-minded
Nino is very open-minded. She always listens to what people have to say and always hears both sides of a story.
Her moral and political views are constantly changing because of this, which often lands her criticism from her
friends and family.

♠Foodie
Nino loves food, and she'll be the first to admit it. Whether it be Oriental or American, she loves it all, and is
always willing to taste-test new dishes concocted by her friends and family.
♣Athlete
Lots of food intake means lots of calories to burn. To help keep her shapely dancer's form, Nino took up running,
swimming, and weight-lifting and found out that she loved it! She believes there's nothing more attractive than a
girl who can hold her own.
♠Animal Rescuer
One of Nino's odder traits is her desire to rescue and rehabilitate animals. She normally only takes in one at a time
and makes sure it's one she can properly care for. Once the animal is healed and trained, she adopts it out to a
loving home.
♣Rights Activist
There's nothing more important to Nino (aside from dancing). She believes everyone should have equal rights, and
will fight tooth and nail to make it so.
♠Casual Gamer
In her small amount of spare time, Nino is a casual 3DS gamer. She usually plays cute games like Animal Crossing: New
Leaf and Pokemon X, but she's also looking into getting a few games that hardened gamers might play like Legend of
Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Fire Emblem Awakening, and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

♠Running / Swimming / Weightlifting
Nino first got into running, swimming, and lifting weights after seeking the guidance of a family member on how to
keep fit with a large, calorie-filled diet. He suggested running, swimming, and weightlifting, so she tried them, and
discovered that she loved them all. They've become some of her passions and she loves to take part in marathons,
swimming races, and weight-lifting competitions.
♣Flower Petal Fortunetelling
One of Nino's favorite hobbies is a lesser-known one; flower petal fortunetelling. This form of fortunetelling uses
flower petals in a fashion similar to "throwing the bones". The most commonly used petals are rose, violet, daisy,
and bleeding heart. Just like the bones, the way the flower petals land determine the fortune. Some fortunetellers
choose to use a fifth type of petal, commonly the tulip petal, but this is only required when a fortune told with four
petals comes out hazy and unclear to read.
Nino's grandmother taught her how to tell fortunes with flower petals when she was about nine years old. She
currently only offers them to her friends and to herself, but she hopes one day she can open a fortunetelling shop,
probably after she ends her dance career.
♠Reading
Nino has loved reading ever since she was a child. She'd pick up all manner of books to read. The library was her
most common hangout spot when she was younger. She sadly doesn't have time to go to the library anymore, but
all of her favorite books are kept at home on a shelf. These include the Harry Potter series, the Eragon series,
and a couple of celebrity biographies to name a few.
♣Cooking
Nino has recently taken up interest in cooking. She eventually grew tired of eating the same old TV dinners or instant
noodles on late nights, so she decided to learn how to cook for herself. Her favorite dishes include grilled veggies.
Most of the time, her dishes come out well, but she's had her share of mishaps as well. She enjoys cooking meals for
her friends and invites them over for dinner often.
♠Dancing
Dancing isn't just Nino's profession, it's a hobby too. Professionally, she belly dances, but as a hobby she's learning
the art of ballroom dancing. It's another method of keeping her body in shape, a way to express herself, and an
opportunity to learn new things.
Meeting Nino: Relationships
Emmeryn
Emmeryn, usually referred to as Emm, is Nino's best friend. They met at a dance class when they were young and have
been friends ever since. While Emm specializes in scarf dancing, she has belly danced with Nino before, and Nino has
scarf danced just for Emm.
Nino and Emm are currently renting a house with Emm's mate, Janaff, and an orphaned PFS fawn that Nino has come
to love, named Micaiah. Also living with them is Inigo, Emm and Janaff's son.
Gangrel
Gangrel is one of Emm's childhood friends. Nino didn't get to know him very well before he moved away to pursue his
dream of becoming a mercenary. Recently, however, Gangrel has returned to his hometown to stay. He works at a
bookstore currently while he figures out what he's going to do with his life. Nino had always admired Gangrel for
multiple reasons, and she found him quite dashing as well. She's hoping that with him back in their hometown, she
can finally get the chance to date him.
Micaiah
Micaiah is an orphaned PFS fawn that Janaff took under his wing a few months back. He found her in the forest behind
his old apartment complex and decided to care for her and act as an older brother to her. Many deersserts are
infatuated by her charm, Nino included. Nino and Micaiah hold a sisterly relationship, and Nino would even go as far to
argue that Micaiah is closer to her than to Janaff. Micaiah has shown interest in dancing to both Emm and Nino, but she
hasn't decided which form of dancing she'd like to do yet.
Janaff
Janaff is Emm's mate, Micaiah's adoptive older brother, and one of Nino's closest friends. She's known him for about a
year, and in that time he's helped Nino go quite far in the belly dancing world. In his spare time, he helped both Emm
and Nino advance their careers through constructive criticism and practice, dance classes, and finding new places for
them to dance. Nino is extremely grateful to be friends with Janaff and values his opinion highly.
