An Astraline is a celestial being. They take on the form of a canine most resembling a fox or domesticated dog. Instead of a tail, they have a star. The older they get, the bigger the star gets and brighter the nebulae it produces. A few more distinguishing features are a bright, nebulaeic mane and a characteristic star marking on their foreheads. Astralines are typically always bright in color. Their nebulae is generally two or more colors, pulsating and intertwining at all times. They are generally peaceful creatures, but if provoked, no one truly knows their powers to the fullest extent.

He has a pet bird, but it's not a cardinal. What breed is it?

This bird was chosen for it's small size as well as the complementing color to his own coat. He can be a vain creature, seeing as Koujaku only chose this pet bird for it's similarity to his coat color and pattern over anything else.

{...because cardinals make me really sad, actually. I remember I used to have two EPIC cardinal figurines when I was a little kid, one was glass, and the other plastic, and then my mom gave them away... I still have the feet from the glass one though. Just the feet.

{They are large and graceful, but they look sad in a way. The way their beaks dip and all. I'm not sure if you're familiar with The Scarlet Ibis (the short story) but that is also quite sad.. Plus, it's red. :'D

Name; Celest -Even though this is a girl's name, I had picked this name because I think it would suit this beautiful boy.

Pet Bird; His pet bird would have to be a Raven. He just loves the myths behind them, that they are misunderstood birds, ones who bring ill omen. He also believes the myth that raven's carry knowledge and secrets with them, and whisper them into other's ears who they find suited to keep those secrets.

Carter Villmark's the name. This boy just
looks like a Carter, and Villmark means
wilderness in Norwegian.

Pet Bird;
Myk the Burrowing Owl is Carter's bird.
The name means soft in Norwegian, and
is pronounced Mic.

Carter found Myk when the owlet was just
a hatchling and could not defend itself.
He knew that Myk wouldn't survive on his
own, so Carter took him in and befriended
the little bird. Now they are soulmates:
Carter and Myk go everywhere together.
