there was a King, who lived in a castle. He was loved by all those his family had once ruled, although now, in these modern times, his title was mostly for show. None loved him more, however, than his wife, a Duchess from a nearby family. They ruled for many years together, but the Queen passed away during the birth of her child- a son, Arthur.
The king was distraught, and locking himself in his room, allowing only one maid to enter with food and drink. He grew close with this maid and within the year they were married. Soon after, she bore a son- Benedict.
Benedict was precious to the King but because his mother was only a maid, there was no way he could ascend to the throne. Rather then have his new son become a fixture in the castle who could do little more then watch his brother grow into the next king, the present king sent him away to his sister and her husband (along with a steady flow of money), who would raise him and school him.
Arthur stayed in the castle. Years passed, and so did his father. Arthur took the crown and the throne, to become a king as good and wise as his father had been (he hopes).

Arthur is the opposite of his brother. While Benedict enjoys quiet things like writing and yoga, Arthur is a hands-on sort of man who likes shooting and sword-fighting. He's brash and bold and more than a little impulsive. Still, he values fairness and justice, the sort of thing that makes a good king. Unfortunately, Arthur has no idea if he's a good king or not. He hopes he can live up to his father's reputation, but that bar is a high one.

"I like my job just fine," you're offended and defensive "I get paid and I can feed myself."
"A job never gives what it takes away does it?" He shuts the door on you.
You stand there, mulling over the words. "What an odd man..."

It is hard to simply describe Lucian. He may be a true prince, but he doesn't act like it. He is rarely seen by the public. He doesn't dress like a prince, he hardly changes his clothes.
He's very intelligent but not interested in science or math. He likes to solve things. Puzzles, mysteries, anything. He's competitive and doesn't like to lose.
Even though he was preened to be a top student, he wasn't quite. He's a genius, but you wouldn't think by looking at him.
Lucian loves to meet new people. Not in a friendly way necessarily but to examine them. People and their different personalities absolutely fascinate him.







People are fascinating.

They all have different ideas.

They have different religions.

We'll never get along.

Despite Gabriel's impressive title, he comes off as a rather friendly and appr-
oachable plumie. He tends to be rather laid back, not really letting things like
his title stress him out. Often his laid back, carefree nature makes people la-
ble him as rather childish and not ready for the responsibility of being a royal.
Gabby also tends to be rather affectionate. He is know to hug others random-
ly or for touching arms and such and not thinking anything about it. Even tho-
ugh Gabby comes off as a friendly person, he is rather cold on the inside. His
demeanor and his words usually are condescending/contradicting of his actions
and he doesn’t seem to possess much sympathy.

Hey there Wyrd! Mm I figured I`d use part of my word limit to explain why I want to try for Gabby. I`m going to try to keep the cheesy crud to minimum so lets just get to the point ; his colors. That really is what convinced me to try for him. I`ve always had a think for creams and well gold and red is a combo I love because Harry Potter. I also had the perfect character idea the moment I seen him and he has stunning eyes. So really I just had to try out. Well I wish you luck in finding the perfect owner for this lovely boy.

Name: Named after the bright shade of yellow, this plumie's name is Saffron.

Personality: Saffron is a strange fellow, and a very unique plumerian. His goal is to be different, to stand out from the crowd and be noticed. He acts like he is above others, and he truly believes that he is. He is incredibly arrogant, so much that most plumies find him hard to stand. Saffron has a strange obsession with anything sharp. He collects swords, knifes, and many other weapons, and has many hobbies including them. His favorite talent of his is knife throwing. He always has his knifes on him, whether he needs them for showing off or self defense.This plumie is strangely lucky, its almost as if he has some sort power. He spends most of time in hanging around bars, making bets with the other plumies and winning. Whether its a drinking contest, knife throwing contest or sword fight, its a rare occasional for Saffron to lose, which is the main reason for his arrogance. But he has a bit of a gambling problem, and loves the feeling of taking risks, since they usually work out with his luck.

Voice: A smooth, slightly deep voice with a heavy British accent. He talks very properly, which can be surprising considering what he does with his time.

(Future?) Relationship With Brother: Saffron, although he has never met his brother, has known that he has had one. He wishes for nothing more than to meet him, and hopes that they will get along well. He wants his brother to be his best friend and his partner in crime, so he is anxious for the day that they finally reunite.

The Crown: Saffron, although he looks and acts like it, is not actually royalty. He is better than it. He won his crown from an actual prince who was visiting a fancy bar. The prince had some impressive knife throwing talents, but they did not compare to those of Saffron's. Saffron had placed his entire knife set on the betting pool, so the prince matched it with his crown. Now Saffron wears his prize everyday, as if he was the prince.

Why I want him: I'll make this section quick, I don't want to waste too many words on myself! I want Saffron because I have been looking for a plumerian to roleplay for quite some time, and as soon as I saw him I felt an instant connection. I adore his design and his colors, and I am quite fond of the concept I came up with for him, so I think he would make a great first plumie for me!

A Bit About Me
I don’t like to think I’m like the other royalty… I am not stuck up and snotty, I don’t even like conflict or talking to people in general. I don’t need any of those silly things to keep me happy; all I need is my pigeons that I keep on my balcony. They keep me company, and I let them roam free, flying gracefully in the air, but they always come back to me. How I wish I could be up there with them…

My mother is alright, and my father isn’t bad, both are too busy to talk to me or play with me so all I have is my tutors, and they just want to teach me things. –Sigh- I wish I had a brother who I could share all of my secrets with. However, I do not… If I were to have a brother, though, I would teach him the ins and outs of the castle, introduce him to my birds, and see if he’d want to play some of my favorite games with me.



When I am not with my pigeons I am curled up in a corner of the castle’s vast library reading this book or that, mainly fantasy and science fiction. The older history books are musty and activate my allergies, and the mold I am highly allergic too… but in Science Fiction and Fantasy books anything can happen, I get lost in the world I’m reading about and can pretend that I am not a prince for just a little bit before reality comes crashing back down on me…

My family is rich, yes, which is how I am able to afford all the birds I desire, they truly are my only friends, but they don't make up for actual company, company I am missing. I get a monthly allowance, which is the only time I venture from my castle grounds, to go look at more birds, of course. My favorite are the kind with the curly feathers, they remind me of my curly fur, and I believe we share that which makes the bond I have with all of them very special.








I am extremely nervous about becoming king... Will I be good enough? Will I fail? Will the people like me? All of these thoughts flow through my head over and over and stop me from sleeping at night. My father is a great King, my mother an amazing Queen, and their pawsteps will be extremely hard to fill… All I can do is wait and see and hope for the best
