Things to know;
Hooded Dragons *generally mate for life.
They reach full maturity at 1 year of age.
They can breed 8 times in their lifetime.
Hoodies cannot breed with their parents, siblings, aunts/uncles, grandchildren, cousins, nephews/neices. However anything more distant than that is permissible.
Every Hoodie has a 1/100 chance of being blind at birth, but if one or both of the parents is blind, it is a 1/50 chance.
Hoodiess hatch from eggs and reach maturity in one week real time.
Hoodies must wait 2 weeks between each breeding.
An average clutch size is 3, but can be as low as 1 or as high as 4.
Note: Clutch sizes and blindness are decided using a random number generator.
*= Some Hoodies do not mate for life, and they can in fact breed with other Hoodies besides their mate.
