What is a Whalacoose?
A Whalacoose, commonly known as Whalas, is a mythical creature that is part Whale, Alpaca, and Moose. A Whalacoose can vary in size, some about as big as a horse, and some as small as a large dog, though most usually stay around the size of a female deer. Whalacooses dislike warm temperatures, usually staying in the water during these times. A Whalacooses wool is extremely warm, which helps them during winter time, though this is another reason why they stay in or near water during summer, or just hot days. Some use Whalacoose wool to make sweaters or gloves to keep warm in cold climates, and others sell it at markets, since it is a very valuable fiber. Whalacooses come in a variety of colors, though most are usually subtle, or light instead of vibrant, though some are vibrant and neon it is rare to see one colored like that. Whalacooses are usually very caring creatures, though they are extremely skittish with newcomers. Female Whalacooses are usually more known to snap more than a male, due to either protecting young, or hunting. A Whalacoose's habitat is usually in a saltwater reservoir, or in places with damp climates to keep themselves hydrated. Most usually stay in or near the water, either catching fish, or relaxing by it. A Whalacoose's diet consists of mainly fish, usually salmon or halibut, but some are vegetarians, usually eating only seaweed or kelp.
