About Merek:
Merek is an adventurous para, always ready to go out and go do something, even if it's just going to town to sell some of the things he's collected on his journeys. (the shop keepers aren't too fond of the bird skulls he brings back however.) He's a social butterfly, starting lively conversation with anyone, and just about everyone. He likes to think he's leader, and asserts himself as one, though isn't rude about it. Despite this, he doesn't do well alone, and is actually fearful of a lot of smaller things (like thunder, and shadows) Often times he puts himself in front of others, and can be self-centered. He loves to joke and tease, with no harm intended, but knows when he takes it too far. With a change of heart, he does what he can to make it up to them, for once putting someone else in front of him, especially with his friends. He can be bossy, and when he has his mind set to something, nothing can change it. he'll go at it until he fails, then he'll try again. Some say he's hard to put up with, but when it comes down to it, he cares deeply for his friends, and is very loyal to those few people he cares for. He's one to hold a grudge, and isn't one to forgive easily. he loves to explore, and often times gets lost, though he just considers it part of the adventure. His friends often times get him out of trouble, as he's one to stick his nose into everything. He goes on a lot of 'treasure' hunts, and loves finding older things (like his goggles and scarf, that he found on his first hunt)
Does he/she like racoons?
No, Merek isn't fond of them. more than once on one of his little 'Journeys' he'd run into them, catching them snatching something from his satchel. he's gotten in quite a few scuffs with them, and holds a grudge.
Extra:
Merek is often found with a scarf and aviator goggles, and a leather satchel. when asked about his getup, he just replies saying, he's ready for an adventure if the time arises.(which it often does)

Because he's always out exploring, always looking for a new adventure, he came to really like this song because he can relate to it well. He's talked to quite a few merchants who are often (according to him) to laid back, stuck in the same routine. He wants to get someone out and see what he does, see why he takes an interest in such things. He often finds himself looking in the face of danger, and he just smiles, finding it as an adventure, finding there's no reason to be scared, that there's nothing to be afraid of.(none of them ever believe him)
