What is a Velynn?
Velynns (pronounced [vehy-lynns]) are canine-like creatures most often known for their two soft tufts of feathers, one on their back between their shoulders, and one in place of their tails. The very first Velynns were created from particularly strong daydreams, thoughts, or ideas, and to this day those Velynns without parents come into existence through this same way. Being light and airy, much like thoughts and dreams, Velynns have been known to float. However, they never stop floating! A Velynn not held down will continue to float up and up forever, which doesn't often end well. Because of this, Velynns have always been given anchors of all colors to hang around their neck on a rope. This anchor allows them to walk and move normally on the ground, but it still allows them to levitate above the ground for short period of time, jump higher than normal, and seemingly drift around much more fluidly than any other similar species. If a Velynn was created from a particularly strong idea, it is not uncommon to see them surrounded with wisps of swirling, colored light, most often around their paws.

this beauty's name is decca. ( pronounced; deh - ck - uh ) idek... it just sort of popped in my head. c; for a companion, Dec has a pudgy little barred owl. his name is pince. ( pronounced; pin - ss ) personality-wise, decca was conceived as a dream of a child who wanted to be one of the birds. dec is always with pince, and can often be found bird-watching or swimming. dec loves to swim, daydream, and occasionally climb trees. she's easily considered "the outdoorsy type."

Ocean Shadow - or Shady. (Affectionately.)

Personality:
Shady is quite the airyfairy character, and bears a strong resemblace to Fluttershy in one way or another. Claiming to be able to talk to spirits, her friends haven't yet clarified whether this is true or not - although the evidence is quite compelling! Her attention span is rather short, and she seems to 'drift off into space' whenever she loses interest. She is big on anything Eco-friendly and almost explodes when somebody litters. She refuses to eat meat, unless it's covered in breadcrumbs,so she doesn't quite taste the meat. In a fight, she is useless, unless her rival drops some litter or something.

Other than that, she is fairly easy going, but likes to do her own thing whenever practical.... and, sometimes, when not. She firmly believes that there is something good in everyone.... apart from litterbugs. in case you haven't noticed she really hates litterbugs.

Animal Companion:
Shady is known for her four-legged-Fennec Fox-friend (FLFFF); Sagittarius. Sagittiarius is known for his bad dispostion, and won't hesitate to let his feelings be known, which always leads to someone being offended. Shady refers to him as 'Ole' Grumpyguts', but she loves him very much. He has taken to stealing her anchor, too, but Shady doesn't seem to mind to much.

Personality: Glue is a very silly and jokey animal who enjoys eating whipped cream.
Art: Boop Bleep
Animal Companion: *not sure if i've understood this properly* A Blanford fox called FeFe and she is cream coloured. Fefe wears a Baby blue and mint green scarf.
Extra:

Glue is a girl and I called her glue because glue is kinda whitish blueish and the design is white and kinda blue, wasn't sure what to call it.

Cyvari

Personality:
Cyvari, or Ari for short, is a rather calm and creative gal, with a passion for creating unique designs using her favorite liquid, ink. When she was younger, she would often paint herself with her beloved ink, which grew into a habit. She is rarely seen without her intricate designs along her body, and even when it's removed, there is a dark stain where the design was. Ari is quite calm and easygoing, as well as patient, but once you've backed her into a corner or if she's stressed, she may just blow up, yelling and even throwing ink everywhere. Raised to strive for perfection, she also becomes frustrated at herself for certain things, such as being unable to create the piece of art that she desires, or being unable to perform a task.

Animal Companion:
Her animal companion is a little red ladybug, with one simple dot in the middle of her back. She often reminds Ari about how sometimes being simple is beautiful and perfect in it's own way.
