Answer: Parfait's absolute favorite stone is the black opal, and for obvious reasons. Parfait is drawn to beauty, perfect, true beauty (as her name hints). There is no better candidate to fit her than the black opal. She so deeply adores its wonderful array of vibrant colors, cased in a silky smooth, shiny, and spherical surface. Not to mention that fact that the black opal resembles everything about her, in a way. Her own colorful personality is reflected in the protected center of this glorious stone.

the first reason is that she feels as if she matches it perfectly in coat color and markings as well as personality. And the final reason is that Tessla is that she adores the colors of the stone.
