Why does he seem so dark? (quick history or personality trait that explains why): Tess, Starry, you just don't ask people why they're dark! He's dark colored because both of his parents were dark, but not as dark as him. They were more of a dark-grey color, not an almost black.

The reason of this beautiful contradiction is because, like most lions, their parents were two different elements. Father, dark. mother, light. His father was a brute shooting for lionesses out of his league. he succeded, since the lioness was ignorant and didn't know much about life. they bore a child. The father's devilish acts and looks within this cub, but his mother's beautiful and loving ability. he doesn't get along with this. and he wished he had something more productive, like poison or fire. but he doesn't, so he is hostile because of his own problems. he lashes out at others when they have seemed to have done nothing. the lion seemingly delirious when confronted, not understanding a word you have said. yes he can be nice when he wants to be, but this is specifically reserved to himself.

Why does he seem so dark? When he was little he discovered his element for the first time. He said it was light and he told everyone about it! But there was a problem, since he was young he could not make it glow very bright, and his fur coat was a yellow color, so nobody could see the light. Nobody believed him, and he was very sad. He then decided he was not going to feel bad for himself forever, so he started trying to change his fur to be darker. One day he tried rolling in soot and ash and the bit of charcoal left from a fire one of his friends made (a fire element) and it dyed his hair dark. But it wasn't an even coat, so he got a little bit of a pattern. Nobody knows why the coat stayed dark, but everyone then believed his power! The end!
