Sometimes, incorrectly, or more modernly referred to as Frankenstien is the actual antagonist of Mary Shelley's novel, Frankenstien's Monster. Many modern films have been released portraying the Monster simply as 'Frankenstein', however this isn't true to the original novel. The true Frankenstien in the novel was the scientist responsible for creating the monstrosity, Victor.
