Why is he afraid of it?
Orginally Zolekk thought that chameleon's were kinda cool, but then one tried to catch a fly that was buzzing around Zolekk's head... and missed... The chameleon's tounge went straight into Zolekk's ear, thus freaking him out and ensuring Zolekk's fear of the chameleon. It wasn't until later that he discovered chameleons can change their color, which only made Zoleek more fearful of an unexpected "attack".

Why is he afraid of it?: Why wouldn't any male be afraid of females? lol He will eventually grow out of it, but he so scarred right now. One mare will eventually come into his life and make him brave of.... er... some mares....

Why is he afraid of it? Apollo is afraid of the dark, or rather, what lurks within it's vast emptiness. It's a rather childish fear, but one he has kept with him since he was young. He feels alone and disoriented in the midst of darkness and often shrinks back. He dislikes walking without seeing where he's putting his feet, unsure if he's about to tumble into an endless hole. At night, he often just shuts down and calls out, seeking the company of others.

Why is he afraid of it? Alabaster is terrified of loud, sudden noises. The fact that they can happen out of nowhere, and that he cannot predict when they will happen, scares him and causes him to be rather paranoid. He tends to be very jumpy and skittish because of this. Furthermore, unfortunately Alabaster has sensitive ears, so loud noises hurt them.

Why is he afraid of it? Blitz is afraid of being abandoned because his family was trapped by hunters when he was younger and he had to watch them be taken away one by one. By the time the last of his family had gone the hunters forgot about him and left trapped alone for months. Blitz was terrified to live without the safety and security of his family. Blitz has never told anyone but, the main reason that this made him so afraid of being deserted was because he felt forgotten. It was the worst feeling he ever had so he tries to avoid it in any way possible.

Why is he afraid of it? Rhythm's fear of birds is quite irrational, he is much bulkier and bigger than the majority of species of birds. Besides geese. I understand why he's afraid of geese. Maybe his strange phobia of our feathered friends stemmed from his lack of love and support as a foal causing a psychological train wreck of distrust and inability to become close emotionally to others... or maybe he just finds their beady eyes and scaly feet unnerving. Or maybe it all started when that finch flew overhead and decided to take a bathroom break in midair... yeah that's probably it, it took days to get it all out of his mane. All we know is that whenever a bird flies by he doesn't take his eyes off of it, and bolts if any bird dares to look him in the eye.

Why is he afraid of it? He has a severe case of arachnophobia. He's been afraid of spiders ever since one bit him when he was a little colt.
