What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

I am terribly sorry for the delay of this mutatocompetition. My littlesister has been taking care of the forums while I only was available to use the drawing program as I've been away. Also my internet had some wierd glitches making commercial pop up. everywhere.

Hello! My name is Snowstar77, but you can call me Snowstar, snowy, or even snow if you like :3

Mutato's name:
I couldn't help myself XD I decided to name this Mutato's Frosty. Frosty seemed like a good fit to me!

Reason I choose Frosty:
The reason I choose to name this Mutato's frosty is because the minute I laid eyes on the snowy design, the first thing that I heard in my head was: " frosty the snowman, was a jolly happy soul" and this mutato struck me as a happy fellow.

The best thing about winter:
I think that my favorite thing about winter is the snow. It seems to me like as soon as the snow starts falling, only then is it truly winter. I love the way it seems to stick to the trees, ground, and buildings and coat everything in a layer of glitter.

My Extra is a short Story about Frosty:

Frosty has always been one for joy. She loves the feeling of making people feel good. One day, as she was running and playing in the snow, she heard a small noise. She looked up into a nearby tree, seeing a cardinal chirping madly. Frosty frowned. Now what you'll make this nest in bird so upset? "Little bird?" Frosty called. The cardinal looked down at her. " what ever is the matter?"
The bird flew lower and perched herself on a branch. " my eggs!" She chirped. " the snow storm blew them all away." Frosty shook her head. " that's dreadful news!" She exclaimed. " let me help you find them!" The cardinal chirped greatfully. " oh thank you thank you!" She exclaimed before flying back up to her nest.
Frosty thought for a moment. now... Where can those eggs be? she thought. Frosty looked up. The wind blew south, so that's the way Frosty headed.
Frosty looked under every bush and behind every rock on the way. No eggs to be found. As frosty beard the south end of the woods she spotted a rabbit hole. perfect! There has to be an egg down there! she thought. Quickly, she scurried down the hole, only to be granted at the end with a very small cardinal egg. Picking it up carefully she squeezed out of the hole.
Frosty returned the egg to the cardinal who informed her that there was one more. After checking the rabbit hole again, Frosty decided to go to the cliff. On the way once again she checked under every bush, and every leaf to find that egg. In the distance she could see the cliff, and a tiny shape teetering over the edge slowly... It was the egg.
Frosty lunged forward, quickly but carefully so she didn't kill the egg. As soon as she had it in her paws she breathed a sigh of relief. She returned the final egg to the happy mother cardinal who must have thanked her a thousand times over before heading home.
