L.O.C. Name:
Aralia Venixom; Ara for short.
Don't be fooled by Ara's name. Although aralia may mean herbal plants, Ara isn't someone who would heal another.
Element:
Poison
Personality:
Secretive, cold, unpredictable - these three words sum Aralia's personality up.
She wasn't always like this. Not until it happened.
When one first sees Ara, they'll realise she hides many secrets, almost too many. But it doesn't bother her, bottling up these secrets and shoving them into the darkest corners of her mind. One can never know what she is thinking, what she is planning in her mind.
Ara has the tendency to react coldly to anyone who approaches her. She is direct with her insults and words, uncaring about how others feel about her.
One can never tell what Ara might do. One day, she might attack them for speaking in her presence, another she'd be fine with loud chatter. No one can predict what actions she might take, and that's the way Ara likes it.
The Story of the Cross:
Aralia wasn't always the way she is now. Long ago, back when she was just a teen, she had the brightest smiles and an optimistic personality. When it happened, she wasn't ready. She wasn't prepared for what was brought upon them that night.
She often repeats the words in her head, that it's not your fault, it's not; you just couldn't control it, but it never seems to get into her head. She tries hard to believe what they had said before it happened to them, that it's not her fault, but she can't. Because she's the one who's killed them, even if it's accidental.
---
Years back, when Aralia was an ever-happy, cheerful fluff of hyper, she had friends around her. She attracted other Lions to herself for her fun personality, her charisma and for her gentle consultations to problems they may have. Those around her just loved being near her.
She hated injustice, hated death, hated anything that harmed others. So when she hadn't gotten her power yet, she hoped to get her mother's power of Air. She didn't want her father's power - in fact, she despised it, although she did love her father. His element was poison, and it harmed others. It hurt and killed them, and it would serve no purpose to her, whereas Air - at least that element could let her float for a little bit, rustle the leaves of trees to make apples fall for other animals to snack on.
Her mother let her believe she would be a bearer of the element of air; the older Lion always agreed with her, telling her yes, you'll be like mummy, and mummy knows it.
So when she realised her power, she was taken by surprise and fear - because she didn't think she would've been a Poison lion. And she didn't think she would kill a friend - or friends - either. Accidental or not.
Three days before Abby's [[not a real LOC, just needed a random lion]] birthday, Ara accidentally scratched her, just a light wound, from playing tag. Three days after, Abby was on the verge of death and finding it hard to breathe. The lions realised it was from poison, and that was when Ara remembered she had accidentally harmed her friend. Abby had told her it wasn't her fault, that she didn't know, but Ara, being who she was, shook her head, thinking yes, it was her fault. Abby died on her birthday.
A year after that, she played with the younger lions, although she was still upset over her friend's death. Again, during a game of tag, she accidentally scratched one, so light it couldn't be seen. The young cub died three days later, again telling her that it wasn't her fault, they were playing and it just happened. Ara shook her head, and again, she took it harshly. It was her fault, it was her fault, and it traumatised her.
Her father started teaching her how to control her powers three months after. Ara had lost her laugh by then, lost her happiness. She was silent and diligently learnt from her father, practicing on innocent bunnies that the older lion had caught.
She learnt to control it in a week, and could seep the poison on her claws back into her body with ease. But even being able to control it now didn't help. She was still traumatised and feared killing more innocent lives. She turned her back on them and instead walked her lonely path, shoving those who tried to befriend her away.
Because this way, she wouldn't kill anyone else important to her again.

You must be wondering by now, so where does the cross come in? Well, it comes in after she learnt how to control her element. She drew the cross over her chest in warning - do not touch, do not come close. It's drawn in purple because her element is poison. So it's a warning to others, and a reminder to herself when she looks at her reflection in the water - she's dangerous, she'll kill.[/size]
