This Qen is sweet but shy. Much like his deer-like appearance, he has a tendency to follow the ideals of "flight not fight"
When his clustermates tease him about it, he merely tells them his slogan: "When the going gets tough, the tough get going!"

~History~
This Qen was born in a dwindling cluster of maybe 8 Qens. The cluster often disputed despite the fact that there was nothing to really fight about. Later, as the cluster gained a couple new members, another cluster joined the area. The newly named "Bestia" cluster soon realized that the new "Ursa Clan" was a rival, and a tough one at that. The squabbling Bestia cluster finally united to keep the Ursa Clan out of their territory. This Qen, with a packname of "Haste", (a name of double entendre; with Hast meaning fawn and, obviously, the word haste)was very young at the time. About 5 months, to be exact.
As you might expect, a war broke out between Bestia and Ursa. The fighters were about equally matched, and the battle was bloody. Many died, including Haste's mother. Haste fled the Bestia cluster, and settled with Coal. He is much happier as a pet than a wild beast, out in the cold, the war, the harshness, and the deaths.
