Kabocha Lucian Dagger.
But most call him Kabocha for short, rarely anyone refers to him with his full name but his parents.
(Meaning pumpkin in Japanese.)(Meaning light, and he was given this after his uncle Lucian, who his family is unsure of his whereabouts.)(And Dagger is his last name because it is his family's name, and it was originally the last name of his great-great-grandpa who was short-fused when protecting his family from others who mean to harm them, since then everyone in his family has this as their last name.)
Friendly but shy
Kabocha is very friendly, but when he first meets anyone. He can be very shy, and cautious because he is unsure that the new POD or person, that he is meeting for the first time is safe and trustworthy.
Curious
Kabocha is curious, but very cautious about new surroundings, new people, and new PODs.
Playful
Kabocha is as very playful as a kitten, he will eagerly and playfully chase, moving sunbeams and red laser beams from a laser cat toy as well. He will also eagerly chase around butterflies, grasshoppers, moths, and crickets.
Sarcastic
Kabocha is very sarcastic with both body language and with words. Normally a sarcastic look and shrug is enough to make his feelings clear.
Quirky
Kabocha is very quirky in the very sense of the word. He often is silly and he dances to his own beat. To phrase it in words; he is his own person, or dragon, to be correct.
Free-spirited
Kabocha is very free-spirited, he rarely lets anyone tell him that he can't be himself. He won't let others shape who he is. Because he is who he wants to be, not what others want him to be. He is just his unique self, not what others see or try to him shape as.
Protective
Kabocha is very protective of his friends. Because, they mean the world to him, since they don't judge him for any of his quirks, and they like him just the way that he is.
Defensive
Kabocha is very defensive, and he will defend what his friends say or do, and what they couldn't have done. They will defend him if a bully tries to hurt his feelings, or if a bully tries to get him in trouble for something that he didn't do.
Short-fused
Kabocha is short-fused, and he is not one mess with because of this. You can easily set him off, if you insult him or any of his friends, or if you try to hurt him or any of his friends. Setting him off is a mistake, since he will get very angry, and breath fire in your general direction, and it will hurt bad. So, I advise that you do not set him off at all, not even once, because it's just not a pleasant experience.
Outgoing
Kabocha is very outgoing and fun, and he knows the best places to enjoy. A day fulled with fun activities, he can plan out where to go from the first activity that you'll do together, all the way to what place has the best food for dinner that night. If you spend your day with him, you just can't go wrong.
Laid back
Kabocha is very laid back and content, and he normally seems to haven't a care. When he is laid back, you'll find him laying ether in the shade of large oak tree, just relaxing with a content smile on his face, or you'll find him in a field of grass, rolling with a smile on his face. Or sometimes when he is not under the shade of a large oak tree, or in a field of grass. You'll find him in a field of wild flowers, happily chasing butterflies of all sizes around the field. Just trying so hard to catch just one of the butterflies, so he can look at it and then let it go.
Caring and compassionate
Kabocha is very caring and compassionate, and he hates to anyone upset. When he sees someone upset, they won't be upset for long. Because he knows just how to cheer anyone up when they are sad or just depressed. He just knows how to listen, and make anyone feel better even if they barely know him, and because he cares and listens to what they are saying, they'll trust him with secrets that they won't trust anyone other then him with. Then after he cheers them up, when they see him again, they'll be friends because he would never ever tell their secrets to anyone.
Down to earth and honest
Kabocha is very down to earth and honest, he stays true to his word. If he promises to keep a secret, he'll keep that secret untold to his grave if need be. Because he won't tell anyone that secret unless you really want him to. Otherwise he'll keep any secret or secrets that you tell him untold to his grave.
Trustworthy
Kabocha is very trustworthy, you can trust him with your life, because he won't let you down. You can also trust him with your secrets, because he won't tell anyone your secrets, unless you really want him to.
Talkative
Kabocha is very talkative, but mostly with his body language when you are in need of a friend.
Unpredictable
Kabocha is very unpredictable at times like a wild cat, when it is one of these times, you never know what he'll say or do. Although most of the time, he is predictable.
No, but he can if wants to. He only likes being scary on Halloween though. So, you shouldn't be scared by him anytime soon.
The haunted pumpkin patch.
(This happened this Halloween to him.)
(Warning: This story gets slowly to being scary, but it isn't scary at first. Just wanted all of you to know.)
(But no one was actually hurt in the making of this story though. XD.)
Kabocha was walking, with excitement on his face. He was going to a pumpkin patch, to out pick a pumpkin that he would carve for Halloween. He hadn't to a pumpkin patch since the time when he was little. So, as he walked, he also daydreamed as well. Just trying to remember what a pumpkin patch looked like, since it had been a long time since his last visit to a pumpkin patch. He as walked, as also he was distracted with his daydream, he had bumped right into a other POD. "Oh, I'm sorry." he said in a small whisper, for he was very shy. A female POD got up and brushed dirt from her pelt. He saw that her pelt was black as a moonless night, and a sliver bracelet with a batman logo charm was on her wrist. "What?" she said in a kind voice, for she hadn't heard what he had said. "I'm sorry." he said again in quiet voice, but this voice was louder then his whisper. "Oh, I forgive you." she said and then looked at his face. "My name's Zora, it means dawn. What's your name?" She said with a curious look upon her face. "My name's Kabocha Lucian Dagger, but feel free to just call me Kabocha." He said with a smile upon his face. "Oh, but what does Kabocha mean?" Zora said with a confused look upon her face. "It is Japanese for Pumpkin. I hatched near Halloween, so my family had a small pumpkin patch. And when I hatched, I hid in that pumpkin patch, but my parents found me hiding behind a pumpkin, so, then my parents decided to name me, Kabocha. Because it means Pumpkin. Well, that's what my mom told me anyway." He said and then he took a huge breath. "Oh, that makes sense. Where were you going when you bumped into me?" Zora said curiously. "Oh, I was just looking for a pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin to carve for Halloween." He said blushing about the fact that he had bumped into her. "Cool, I was just on my way to a pumpkin patch, but the other PODs said it was haunted." She saw his face look like he was a little bit scared. "I don't believe them though." She shuffled her feet about as she talked. "I think they could just be making up stories to try to scare me away, so they can have all the good sized pumpkins." She rolled her eyes. "Well, I'm not falling for it. Hey, do you want to come with me? " She said excitedly. "Umm..." He though about it. "Sure, why not?" He said sharing her excitement. "Great, let's go! I know exactly where it is." She said with excitement. "I have a map in my bag if we get lost though, and a compass as well." He said proudly and pointed the hiking bag on his back. "Ooo, cool! I'm sure that you won't have to use it though." She said confidently. "Okay, I was letting you know just in case that we needed them." He said excitedly. "Okay, thanks for letting me know." She said with a smile. "Now, let's go!" She said as she started to run. "Hey, wait for me!" He said as he struggled to keep up with her. "Okay." She said and slowed down. "Thanks." he said as came up next to her. "Your welcome." She said with a smile. "Could we just go at a medium pace?" He asked. "Sure," she started to trot like a horse. "Is this good?" She asked. "Yeah, it's great!" He said as trotted beside her. "Good, we're getting closer to the pumpkin patch." She said. "Really?" He asked with a smile. "Yeah, it's because we ran for a bit. Now it's nearer." She said smiling. "Awesome! I can't wait to pick out a pumpkin." He said with much excitement. "Great, because we're here!" She said with much excitement as well. The pumpkin patch wasn't as nearly as in impressive as Kabocha though it would be. It looked run down, as if no one had been taking care of it for years on end. There was a huge sign above them, that read "Bob's pumpkin patch." but it had large cobwebs on it, and a quite large spider dissented down from the sign, making him jump back in surprise. "What's wrong, are you scared of a spider?" She asked in slightly taunting tone. "No, it just surprised me, that's all." He said defensively. "Okay, I was just joking." She waved her paws around in defeat. "No need to be defensive." She said and then looked around at the pumpkin patch. Kabocha looked below the large sign, and saw signs that looked new, fresh in compared to the cobweb covered sign above them. One had spray painted words on it, saying "Haunted, get out." Another said "This place is haunted, so get lost." He was starting to believe Zora about on her believing that this place being haunted was all a prank. He turned and saw a yet another sign, this one said "Get lost, or death will befall you." He wasn't sure about this one, since it looked the fresher then the other ones. He touched the words in curiosity and then lifted his paw, it was now wet with fresh blood. The words were wet and now they looked as if they were wrote with fresh blood, like the blood that some of was now on his paw. "w-w-w-w-What?" He stammered with confusion and worry. "What? What did you find Kabocha?" She asked with curiosity. "bb-b-b-b-b-b-b-Blood." He continued to stammer with worry. "What? Blood?" She said and ran over to him. She looked over his paw which was still wet with fresh blood. "Hmm... Where that blood come from, Kabocha?" She asked worriedly, and then looked around. "t-t-t-t-t-t-There." He continuing to stammer. She ran over, and looked closely at the sign. She touched it as well and then lifted her paw, it was now wet with fresh blood like Kabocha's paw. She gulped in fear, although she was not scared of anything. This sign had been written with fresh blood, but where had the blood come from? She was curious about the origin of the blood, but she need help to figure out where the blood had come from. So, she went over and hugged Kabocha to try and calm him first. "What?" He said confused to why she had hugged him. "I was trying to calm to you, so we can solve the mystery of where that blood came from." She said still curious about where had that blood come from. "Ummm.... Okay, but why don't we just leave?" He said questioningly. "Because who else will solve this mystery?" She asked because no one else cared about the mystery. "Scooby doo and Mystery inc?" He asked hopefully. "No, they are cartoon characters, and they are busy solving mysteries in their own town." She said with sarcasm and rolled her eyes. "We are the only PODs who are willing to at least try solve the mystery. Everyone else is just too scared." She said bravely. "Okay, but will you at least take a flashlight to see with?" He asked with a extra flashlight in his paw for her, that he had gotten out of his hiking bag. He was also holding a flashlight in his other paw that was his. "Sure." She said and took the flashlight from his paw. "Let's go in the pumpkin patch now." She said, and started to walk under the large sign. "Okay." He said bravely, and followed her into the pumpkin patch. There was no telling what could happen next. Kabocha held his flashlight, a very bright beam of light was coming from it onto the ground before him. Zora was next to him with her flashlight also, had a very bright beam of light coming from it onto the ground before her. "See anything, Kabocha?" She said with curiously. "No, nothing out of the ordinary, just pumpkins and vines." He replied. "Darn, it's the same over here." She said. Kabocha moved his paw that held his flashlight, and saw in the beam of light, a trail of blood. "Umm, I just found a trail of blood over here." He said nervously. "Really?" She said and turned to see. She saw the trail of blood in the beam of light, that came from his flashlight. "Let's follow it!" She said excitedly. "Okay, then." He said in agreement. They followed the trail as it went deeper into the pumpkin patch, all the way to the very back of the pumpkin patch, and then into some bushes. On the other side of the bushes was a note, that read "Leave now, or you'll end up like him." And a sign as near the note with a red blood written arrow on it, pointing up to a tree. Kabocha and Zora looked up just time to see, a skeleton as it fell down from the tree, it was hanging on a rope with blood all over it. Zora went up the skeleton, and touched it. It was fake, and the blood was too. The blood had warmed up in a microwave to make it seem like was real fresh blood. When actually it was just store-bought fake blood from the Halloween section. She knew was true because there was a bottle on the ground next to a bush that said "Fake blood" She flipped it over, and on the back it said "Make yourself look like you just drank someone's blood or like you just rose from the dead. Realistic and fools everyone on Halloween into thinking that you are really a vampire or a undead zombie. Great for pranks, or decorating your house for Halloween. Danger: Do not put near eyes. If fake blood gets in eye(s) rinse well with water, and consult a doctor if eyes swell up and you can no longer see." "Look, this was all a prank! Just like I though." She held up the bottle of fake blood for Kabocha to see. "Great, just great." He said with sarcasm. "Who was pranking us?" He asked. "I don't know yet, but then I find out they'll be in big trouble!" She said angrily. The bushes in front of them rustled, and a male child POD came out. "I'm sorry!! Please don't hurt me!" He said waving his paws in defeat above his head. "Why, shouldn't we tell on you?" She asked. "Because it was just a harmless prank." He said sitting nervously on the ground before her. "Just a harmless prank!?!? We though that someone had actually been killed!" She said angrily. "I'm sorry! Please don't tell anyone!" He said shaking with fear as he sat on the ground before her. "Don't tell anyone!? Do you think I'm kidding!? I'm not kidding!" She said angrily. "Calm down, Zora. We can talk to his parents." Kabocha said trying to calm her down down. "Okay, fine. Let's go tell his parents then." She said calmly. "Okay, let's go." He said and turned to face the male child pod. "Where do your parents and you live?" He asked calmly. "This way." Said the male child pod with a voice that told Kabocha that he was calmer then before. They walked in silence, only the sound of Kabocha's, Zora's, and the male child pod's inhales and exhales. Was the only thing that they heard as they walked. Following the male child pod, as he led them to his home. WIP.
