Explain: I close my eyes and I let my body shut itself down and I let my mind wander. It wanders to a familiar place. A place I don’t talk about or acknowledge exists. A place where there is only me. Theirs no looking back now that my eyes are shut, i'm in my special little place. That's the best thing about having my eyes closed. There is no fear, here. Absolutely no fear. When one lives without fear, one cannot be broken. This moment- this chance, to get away from the world has never been better. And that's what I like about having my eyes closed.

I have been a fan of Keetins ever since I first saw the species concept, but never have been able to call one my own. This girl is beautiful, and I hope to call her my first. <3

Her name is Caitlin. Caitlin is an Old French and Greek name meaning 'Pure'. A beautiful and majestic name for a Keetin just like Caitlin. <3

Explain:

Well, not only does she have no choice, as she can't open them. But, the thing she loves about it, is not knowing what's ahead. What will happen. She treasures the mystery, as it's not every day you spend your life filled with surprises and new things. Whether you can see or not, it's a rare opportunity to be able to discover new things, even for Caitlin. As much as she hates it, a girls gotta have a little routine in her life. Life is a mystery, and she loves that most.

It also makes it so she can see people for who they truly are, and not just by what they look like on the outside. She can develop her own image of what they look like based on personality, rather than actual looks. Even though this could be a little bit dangerous, as she can't avoid those who are what they look like(And they look for the worse), but it has also helped her develop some very close and sweet friends.

Being blind, Caitlin has a big imagination. In some ways, it's bigger than ours. But in other ways, it's smaller. Caitlin has no idea what 'colors' are. Instead, she sees things different in her mind. Such as light differences, and a little bit of red/orange. Even so, not being able to see the world has helped her create something entirely different in her mind based on her enhanced senses of sight and smell alone. <3 If I could look into her mind and tell you what I saw, i assure you it would be amazing.

I mean, she was born blind after all. So really, it's nothing different for her. Nothing tragic. She knows she's different, but tries not to let it get to her head. She tries making the best of her dark world, and so far she's succeeded!
