My last adopt for a couple days.

It looks like this mare is of Mustang descent, and perhaps lived a very lazy life up until now. She appears only halter-trained and is a bit shy of humans.
I wonder why?

For this contest, I want you to tell me A) Her backstory before you adopted/bought her, and tell me why she is only halter-trained and shy of humans. OR B) How you plan on training her for the saddle and ridable and teaching her to not be so shy.

Arrow grazed happily with her herd. She heard a strange shouting, unlike she had ever heard before. She lifted her head and, with perked ears, looked around. She saw horses in the distance with something on their backs. They were strange creatures that were riding them. She let out a fierce whinny, warning the herd. The horses that have not yet noticed the cowboys coming, lifted their heads to take a look. The horses began to gallop away in a panic. Arrow was the last to follow because she was helping the older horses and foals. She felt something fall against her neck when she was pulled back with a sudden choke. She fell onto her side and noticed a rope around her neck. She stood up and tried desperately to shake off the rope. The cowboys threw more ropes around her neck. The lead her to a ranch full of other horses. They put her into a small corral where they would later attempt to ride her. They tied her up. They cut her tail short and went to work on her mane. She nipped and snapped at anyone who would get near her. They decided to try and ride her. They saddled her up and slipped on the bridal with a force that hurt her mouth. They let her into the corral where she bucked and kicked ferociously. The cowboy used his whip and smacked her neck. She reared up and he kicked with his sharp spurs. She winced and began to gallop. That day was torturous and painful for the mare. She escaped later that night. She had jumped the fences and galloped away. She was found by Cream Dream Stables and was taken in. They tried to work with her but she has grown an intense fear of humans which made her shy.
