The KAi are creatures of the sea. Their name literally means "of the sea". Though the sea is wrapped in mystery and darkness where many fabled monsters got their recognition, the KAI are anything but dangerous. They are docile creatures and loyal companions much like the pet dog. The KAI enjoy company and rarely are found off wandering on their own. KAI typically reside in the shallow water near shore and the coral reefs that dot the ocean. KAI are omnivores- meaning they eat meat (fish) or vegetation such as seaweed. KAI have also been known to go onto land but they tend to spend 80% of their time in the cool salty sea. They are mammals so they do have to surface in order to breath.

Story Behind her expression and her "Reins":

As a young KAI she was captured, exactly 3 months after she was born. She was taken away by scientists to study. They found out a few things, including how to tell if they were male or female, but they wanted more. The terrible people were capturing even more just to earn the money by finding these things out. So as they continued to capture more KAIs they found out more things. About how they eat fish and sea weed. About how they come on land as well as swim in the water. But still, they wanted more. They began to forget about all the KAIs that they had captured, and stoped feeding them. They got angry and started squeking and skreaching. This was very annoying to the scientists. So they had some inventors invent a muzzle, so that they could no longer talk. Well, they wanted more. They wanted to know if they could ride KAIs. Since Kiar was the first one they captured, they thought she was the one least likly to run away. They had the same inventors design "rains" for Kair. But she would skreach and squek. So, they invented this weird kind of "rain" gadget. It was a muzzle, mixed with a rain so that she could not "complain" about the rains. Testing day came fast. They got her in the water with her rain gadget on, and off they went. She was smart and pretended every thing was going to be fine. So she went slowly and carefully untill nobody was paying attention to her and her rider. Then she swam fast, knocking off her rider. Now she trys to find her family, swiming sadly in the ocean.

Personality: Lenna is the happiest Kai anyone has ever met. She is always ready to please anyone, and is full to the brim with energy and happiness. She also loves to bake, write, and garden in her spare time.
Story Behind her expression and her "Reins": Many other Kai believe Lenna is so happy because she has a past that will do anything but put a smile on your face. A week after Lena had been born, her mother and father disappeared mysteriously, maybe captured, maybe killed, possibly locked away in an unknown part of the sea, no one ever really knew what happened to them. They have never been found, but they we're proclaimed dead two years after they went missing, just to reassure the community (Though everyone has long realized that they didn't really know). Lena was far too young to help in the search when her parents had first gone missing, but she still blames herself for her parents' disappearance. She wears her reins in hopes that whatever -or whoever- captured her parents would find her an easy steal and would capture her too, so she could see her parents once again. She is always sad, but she tries to hide her sadness in cheery smiles, so that no one else would have to feel sad or sorry for her. But if you happen to glance at Lenna when she is far away from anyone, lost in thoughts of her parents and the cruel way they were taken from her, you will see her sulking around where she was born, hoping to be captured by the things that so long ago captured her parents.
