What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Reason for choosing the name: Viva La Viva is the name of possibly my favorite song, and "long live life" the meaning of Viva La Vida, seems to fit this mutato so well!

Why? Well the name is a musical term, but it's still a possible name. In fact, I know sisters called Melody and Harmony. And for some reason, the colors really inspire the name melody too.

Reason for choosing the name:

Viv is the abbreviated Vivaldi. Vivaldi is one of the greatest classical composers of all time, not to mention my favourite! He wrote my very favourite song, called Spring from The Four Seasons. I love Summer, Winter and Autumn too, but Spring is my favourite because it reminds me of all the baby animals and new life!

Reason for the Name
I have chosen this name, because of the song 'Silhouette' by Owl City. This song is both nice but (somewhat) depressing. Also, the Mutato's colors fit almost PERFECTLY with the song's mood.

I'd have to say, the smooth, flowing line smooth music notes on the bottom half reminds me of the calm, soothing melody of a Piper. Kind of like one of those old cartoons, If someone played a Piper, the line of music notes appear coming from it-- thats what it reminds me of ^^ As for the top, it reminds me of my violin music from last year. i only remember a little, but I think those are the exact notes. It was my favorite orchestra piece, and I loves it so. I had even gotten my first solo on that song, for I was so happy. This mutato just brings back so many happy times, and makes me have that feeling when you had just eaten a warm marshmallow in hot chocolate, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside <3 I love this mutato so, and her name will go with the bottom piece, her name will be Piper, for the reasons above and this wonderful, beautiful design.

Honestly, Piper is a instrumental mutato, and loves music. But she prefers the sound of a piper, for her parents had one when she was growing up and they always played it. It brings back good memories to Piper, so her favorite song is This relaxing, soothing piper song. Her parents would often play something similar when she was going to bed as a child.
