How she lost her tail:
Noemi has always been afraid of thunder, but it wasn't until now that she is more afraid of it than ever. this is the story why; it was cold and I was on my way home, swishing my beautiful tail around as i made my way. as I came within sight of my house, i decided to take the scenic route. that wasn't a good choice because as i came to the river, i saw that the usual tree trunk that made a natural bridge was gone. then i heard a loud crackle and saw a flash after the flash came a thud from behind me. i screamed and turned to run but my tail was caught under the tree that had fallen on my lush tail. no! i yelled as i tried to run. i heard another crackle and saw another flash. i screamed for help and finally got my tail lose as i ran back home. when i got in my house my mother said, Noemi! your tail! and as i looked down i saw nothing. i cried and cried for days because it wouldn't be there anymore, not there to sway in the breeze, not there to keep me warm at night, it was gone.
Why she's sad: Noemi is sad because her tail is gone, torm away from her by her biggest fear, thunder.
