What are Emyriches?
Emyriches are large docile creatures that inhabit the large, mystical island of Emyr. They emerge from their leafy lairs at dusk and are active for most of the night and morning. A colony of Emyriches is a tightly knit community, mostly consisting of a couple families. They are very social but completely silent as they lack mouths. They communicate through the bells on their tails which are also completely silent to the average human ear. The Emyriches pick up these signals through their large rabbit like ears and then respond is necessary. How do they eat? Well, they use the colorful pads on their feet to absorb nutrients from plants. This doesn’t harm the plant.
They are the size of a small horse when full grown. Females are slightly taller than males and are usually the ones that lead the colonies. Males mark territories and guard if they have to. Their only means of self defense are their size and small claws on their hind feet.
Cubs are born without a bell, causing them to be mute for the first few months. At two years old, a cub will receive a wrap. This wrap will be their first and probably last. The parent either makes it or hires someone to. This band displays the cubs personality and where they stand in the colony. Females wear them on one of their front legs and males on one of the back. The wraps can be vibrantly colored and intricate but usually match the eyes and paw pads of the cub. They stand out from the naturally colored coat of the Emyrich.

Personality: I am very outgoing, I tend to speak(er...signal?) how I feel and may be very cocky at times. I am not like every other fae; I'm not submissive and will speak(er...signal!) my mind as I see it fit. I'm not vicious, but I'm stern, I will speak(signal...) my mind fearlessly, and most definitely will not baby you. Though I'm rough around my edges, I'm filled with a soft gooey center(Y'know, guts and stuff) and a kind heart. A leader; I won't act on something I'm not sure of, and should I do, I'll do so alone; I refuse to risk those that care for me, and I care for.
Colony: A small colony lead by a now retired Queen. Willow took over, hand picked and raised by the Queen~ seemingly stolen away from her parents for her uniquely blank color.
Why do you want this Emyrich and what are your plans if you win: This would be my first so it would be a great honor to begin some sort of new adventure with this very special Emyrich. Firstly I wanna get used to drawing them; as they are adorable, maybe make a little story about her and a little colony I make up?
What does his/her wrap mean to him/her: T-The wrap? Heh, daddy made it special for his princess. That what he called me, I was always daddy's princess. He said I was very special, that's why the queen only let me see him sometimes because he was just a worker. Apparently I was special, because the queen of our colony isn't my mom, though she treats me like she is- I know she's not, but she doesn't know that I know. I don't know what happened to my mom, but dad says I look a lot like her, only I don't have her markings, or his markings, so I'm not sure how that worked out, maybe it had something to do with my eyes? Daddy told me the wrap was made special, with pretty intricate designs to show how high I would rise one day, because he knew I would, and I won't let daddy down, wherever he is now.
I refuse to let my father down. I'll prove him right; I can lead a colony.
