.:: Story ::.
[i]A breeze announced the coming of summer, warm with the air of the coast. A curious little blue speckled face emerged from a nest, followed by a pink and orange one. "Ready?" The blue one smirked. "Ready!" The pink on confirmed. Both emerging from the den, they revealed themselves as Keetins, brother and sister. They both ran to the top of a steep grassy bank and looked down on the valley below. "I'm going first Sorbet!" The blue Keetin said, but then quickly pushed his pink sibling Sorbet down the slope. "Gelato!" She cried angrily as she slid down the dew-wet grass towards the bottom of the hill "Weee!" Gelato jumped after her and tumbled down the slope. "Urgh! Your such a jerk." Sorbet humphed at her brother who just laughed at her. "Come on, it'll totally be worth it." He reassured her. "Where are we even going anyway?" She asked, realized he hadn't told her. "A place. You'll see when we get there." He smirked at the clueless Keetin. They both rolled down banks, strolled along river banks, ducked around bushes and scaled tall trees when the faint but delicious scent hit both of their noses. "We're here." Gelato sang out taking a big whiff of breath. Over a small rise, below them lay Keetin paradise; a large strawberry fieldn. "Ta-da!" Gelato cried launching himself into the plants and disappeared between the leaves of the plants. "Aw yea!" Sherbet cried leaping after her brother. The two dined on fresh ripe strawberries all afternoon, pleased with their discovery. "Thanks for bringing me with Gel." Sherbet smiled once they got home, still carrying a couple small strawberries each. "No problem, Sherbet." Gelato smiled snacking down one of his last strawberries. What a great day. they thought simultaneously.
