Name:Amnesia
Gender: Female
Personality: Amnesia, despite her name, does her best to remember everything. Her goal in life is to discover as much as she can and she is constantly in the search for knowledge and to understand the riddles and sayings of the modern ages. Amy is calm and patient, though shy when it comes to romance she is an idealist but she doesn't let that get in the way of truth, this little creature is morally solid and inquisitive to a fault, For the most part she is fearless, and will sacrifice safety for the answers she seeks.
Why does she have the strings: Amnesia had an accident when she was young, and contracted amnesia, she lost all memory of her parents and life before the accident, and once she began to get over the depression of having her brain wiped clean she took on the name of the thing that had ruined her life in an attempt to 'own it' and get her life back on track, so whenever she has a memory return, she adds a string to her accessory list.
Art or Story:
Story:
The dull thud of the cafe door closing alerted the Zhoon of human activity. The creature slid further down the broad leaf, poking her colorful over the edge to plan her landing before dropping down onto the wooden railing that lined the deck of the cafe. The cafe was a rustic yellow complete with a platform deck, and dotted with colorful umbrella tables. The rich brown of the wood deck, polished by use, brought the wide array of colors together against a rainforest that seemed to have marched right up against the back door of the little building. The heavily vegetated canopy choked out the sunlight, the umbrellas were almost unnecessary. A narrow dirt path wound out to meet the sidewalk and main road of the small tourist town.
Despite the noise and disruption brought on by the humans, this particular Zhoon found that the food exchange for pictures was quite worth the fuss. Clinging to the railing the pink Zhoon surveyed the area, a few humans sat at a side table, speaking in gentle and slightly amused tones, every now and then one or the other would chuckle. Curious the pink Zhoon moved in a series of leaps across the railing and chairs, landing almost silently on the backs of one of the wooden deck chairs, The Zhoon stuck her tongue out to snatch a bit of muffin as one of the men raised it to his face. Having no idea what had just happened the man let out a startled yelp and turned his head to see the Zhoon speedily receding to the canopy to finish off her prize. The mans companion laughed heartily. "You knew that thing was there the whole time!" the man barked at his laughing companion. With a frustrated chuckle he turned to look at the Zhoon, who was already picking her way across the umbrellas to the table. With a lighthearted shake of his head the man ripped off a chunk of his muffin and placed it on the edge of the table. This time when the Zhoon came to take the morsel of food she stayed at the edge of the table, sitting there as the two men talked about her. She was oblivious to their words as she munched happily on the food. The two men began discussing how brave animals were becoming when it came to human interaction, losing their natural skills for gathering and relying on humans to supply food for them in exchange for a few pictures or sightings. Once the Zhoon had finished her meal she leapt up to the other mans chair and began happily nipping at his hat for a few moments before the men gathered themselves and left the cafe. The creature waited a few moments at the table, marveling at the hat that man had been wearing. She felt as though she should know something about these two, something in particular about that hat, but no matter how hard she thought about it there was a misty sense of nothingness. With a sigh she gave up and headed back to the trees to await her next customers, and with them came the chance to learn and sometimes even remember.
