What are Jelly Cats?

Jelly cats are small furry felines with a craving or anything sweet or sugary. They are friendly and sociable creatures and often live in groups of friends and family. They can inhabit many area's but are especially fond of beaches where they often gather and play. Their appearance often resembles their favorite sweet treat.

Why is she blind: She was walking home to her mother with the herbs she needed to make them there lunch. She ventured out into the woods even deeper than she was suppose to to get the herbs. She was carrying foxglove deathberries and more she was careful with these cause she knew they would kill her. She was also carrying Blindweed she loved that herb but her mother told her never to play with it. She carried all these herbs in a large flower shaped in a basket. She picked up the blindweed and took a rest. She slept outside with the blindweed in her paws. In her sleep she twisted and turned and the blindweed poked her in the eye. Spreading the blindness across both of her eyes. Once she woke up the world was no longer the colorful world she once knew. it was blank and blurry now.

It was a calm, quiet evening. I was walking on home, my beautiful brown eyes scanning the grassy terrain, when suddenly, I heard a rustling in the bushes. I glanced over, seeing a large shadow scurry off, and dismissed it as a nuisance. But when I began to leave, I heard a sharp growl. Turning, I let out a shrill shriek as a badger pounced atop me. It clawed at my eyes, blinding me. I managed to kick it off, biting at its throat and feeling the warm spray of blood spatter across my beauteous fur. Forevermore, I bear these scars, and I shall never forget it.

Felicity

Felicity means intense happiness. I felt this name would suit her due to her happiness regardless of being blind.

why is she blind:
When was a kitten, Felicity remembered being separated from her mother and siblings. She was taken by men wearing white coats and the next thing she felt was a small sting against her paw. Then came the darkness. After that day her vision had darkened to pitch black. The shining blue eyes she had from her mother had dulled down to a silver, nearly white color.
Regardless she felt no hatred or sadness for this. After all she was given a good home and a human who always watched over her. The only thing she didn't like was the pity other jelly cats showed towards her due to her blindness, they didn't see that she wasn't truly blind. She could see but not the same way as them. Felicity saw with her mind along with her sense of taste, touch, smell, and hearing.
Other then that Felicity is a very kind and wise cat for her young age who bares no malice towards the humans who were the cause of her blindness.
