What is a kiamara?

A Kiamara is a wolf-like creature. They have long, fluffy manes on the top of their heads, running down between their shoulders. They all have spots on their bodies- a trait in which will never be bred out of their DNA. They also have feathers- every Kiamara is given feathers when they reach the age of 2 years old. Their diet consists of fruit as well as meat- they prey on similar creatures that wolves would. Kiamara can be very shy before they get to know you. Can you win a Kiamara's heart?

Lunar stared out of his window looking up at the galaxy before him. He pictured as every star being a little person living their own life. He watched the stars play and dance along to the music filling the air. His eyes drifted around the disco room before him until he saw a lump of shining rock in the sky. “Wow! Whats that?” Lunar gasped as the magical stars began to fade.
“That?” His sister said pointing to the moon. “Is the magical moon, the disco ball of the night.”
The stars began to come back to life at the little party in the night sky. The moon glistening and shining over them.
A night later, Lunar stared again at the night sky. It was pitch black. “Wheres the party?” He exclaimed. At that moment his sister came up behind him with a glistening ball on a chain. Handing it to him she said “The party will be in here Whenever you want to see it.”
Lunar clutched on to the little glistening ball as the memories of the Night disco came back to life.

Who wouldn't? I love lunar so much! As soon as I saw him I just knew he was perfect. His colours,his design just everything about him.

I have only recently started trying out for Kia's but I am trying to get involved with everything, I have signed up to the Kia Fanforum website and I post on the CS fanclub too. If I won Lunar I would have great fun roleplaying him and dressing him up.

Owning Lunar would just be amazing, I would love him to pieces and he would make lots of friends and would always be safe. Basically it would be a dream come true!!!

The glowing marble if you look closely is rounded like the moon. When his parents saw him they called him "One in a Blue Moon." His sister then gave him the little trinket not just because she loves him because he is special and a special Kia deserves a little more than just a feather.

Lupus was given his marble by his sister after their mother died in a fire. It's was hers, and Lupus' sister took it off her ear, where she wore it. She gave it to Lupus on his 1st birthday, and he has never taken it off since. Lupus' marble reminds him if the few months when his mother was with him.

His sister gave him the orbs on a night out under the sky, one of those rare nights when they both had time to actually be together under the night sky. He was snuggled against her side and asking her about the sky and it's various wonders, Halley suffered often from chronic insomnia, so that's where his infactuation with the sky came from.

His sister was telling him about shooting stars and what they really were, comets in the sky, streaking in space with the stars, but she mentioned one particular comet, Halley's comet that was a rare sight to see, and the they saw one. A real shooting star. A comet.

Halley had never seen one before, a real shooting star, he made a wish. That he would be able to sleep tonight. That same night before he went to bed, his sister gave him the orb, a small glowing ball. It made him think of the comet and the wish he had made. That night he slept peacefully. Every night since he has as well.

Why he likes comets:
Halley always was fascinated with the stars from birth pretty much, his older sister had always had a thing for the night sky. He followed in suit after her, always looking up to her, always wanting to be outside at night and ask her about the stars, he became infactuated with the stories associated with the constellations, and most importantly, comets.
His sister told him about comets one night and how they were the shooting stars at night, but were really huge chunks of ice and rock with a trail of dust and condensation behind them as they sped through space in an ellipsis, and that they were very rare to see.
He then began to associate the comets with hope and light, a wish you can make and hope it comes true. He would stay up almost all night watching and waiting for comets to shoot by.

When he was really young and his his sister was still a kid, he used to look into his mother's eyes and always think how they look like shining blue marbles. Not long after, their mother died, and his sister gave him the blue marbles so he would always remember looking into his mother's eyes.

The young Kia's burst of colors and energy reminded his sister of the stars and night above. He didn't need a simple, exquisite feather, a brightly colored marble would do. It glowed with the beauty and power of the universe in a glass ball; it was perfect.

"Sister, what is that?" The young Kia asked, pointing to a bright and beautiful star.

"It's the North Star, darling," she said, admiring it's beauty.

"I wish I was a North Star," he said, keeping his gaze with the star. "I want to be the brightest star in the sky. Everyone would admire me."

"They already do," she said, patting his head. "You represent the stars, the planets, the galaxies, the universe. That's why I gave you this marble instead of a feather."

The Kia looked at himself, then at the sky. Who knows, he thought. I might be another Child of the Universe.

Bode and his sister were out playing hide and seek in the woods , at this time Bode was quite little
and his sister was still a teen. After Bode had pounced on her back squealing "found you"
they both stoped as a small speck of fire came shooting through the sky and landed before
them, as the smoke cleared they saw it was a few marbles on a string, they had no idea where it had come from,
Bode's sister wanted to keep it, but As she looked closer at the marble she found it looked a bit like Bode, and their
was something telling her it was made for him, "you can have it" she said as she opend his paw and placed
it on then closed his paw up again as she gave a friendly smile. That night, as Bode looked at it, he could see it was ever so slightly glowing, and if you squint very hard, you can see little specks floating around inside as if they are in orbit....

What's Bode's favourite object/s in space:

One of Bode's favourite things is Pluto, it is no longer a planet but now a dwarf planet, yet he finds it one of the most interestings in space. He finds it very odd thats its orbit is inclined and it crosses through neptunes orbit, which is his favourite official planets. Also the fact that it was placed in the kuiper belt also fasinated him. Bode also is very interested in Plutos 3 moons, Nix, Hydra and Charon, also he was interested in the fact that Pluto was orbiting around a center of gravity that was not itself, and it appears it's moons were too.

However Bode's favourite thing in the whole of space that is so far know is Messier 81 or more commonly known as NGC 3031 or Bode's Galaxy. At the moment, Bode only has a small telescope, and Bode's galaxy is one of the few galaxys that can be seen by a small telescope or some binoculars, but only to the trained eye, and Bode's has reasearched space all the time when ever he has a few spare moments, so finding it isn't a problem. The bright look of the galaxy fascinates him, and its majestic appearence was what inspired him to study space along with the discovery of his marbles.
