A Kiamara is a wolf-like creature. They have long, fluffy manes on the top of their heads, running down between their shoulders. They all have spots on their bodies- a trait in which will never be bred out of their DNA. They also have feathers- every Kiamara is given feathers when they reach the age of 2 years old. Their diet consists of fruit as well as meat- they prey on similar creatures that wolves would. Kiamara can be very shy before they get to know you. Can you win a Kiamara's heart?
Yay, my first Kia! <33

My Username is ƜσℓʌɛƨǤσЯαωя, which is a cryptic text for WolvesGoRawr(:
I normally go by Wolves, so please feel free to call me that rather than by my full name if you like ^-^
I'll answer to that as well as to Wolf or Rawr or WGR or anything else you can come up resembling my name,
though Wolves is preferred <3
❧ name;;
Nymeria
Pronunciation: Ni - Meer - Eee - Ah
Nymeria was the great Direwolf bonded to the Lady Arya Stark in the popular book Series, and now a popular HBO show, A Game of Thrones. The wolf is found in the snow as a pup with it's five littermates, which are given to the other children of the House of Stark. Lady Stark named her wolf after the legendary Queen of the Rhoynar. Nymeria was a warrior queen who brought ten thousand ships across the narrow sea to the shores of Dorne. She struck an alliance with House Martell, taking King Mors as her husband. With his help, she conquered the rest of Dorne. Nymeria the wolf is a fantastic companion, staying always by the side of her Lady. When Arya is caught in a fight with Prince Joffrey, she lunges at boy and protects her girl. Later, Arya is forced to chase her off to save the Direwolf's life for she would have been killed for attacking the Prince. Nymeria goes on to lead a pack around the Gods Eye, having no fear of men. Lord William Mooton and his sons ride out to hunt the wolf that is larger than any other, but are forced to retreat and lose their hounds in the process. One of the last of the Direwolves, this great female is later seen by her old littermate, Ghost, singing under the moon along with a hundred little grey cousins of her pack singing with her. You're probably wondering why I chose a name with such a strong history as that for this beautiful and majestic Kiamara. Simply because I see this girl to be of a strong heart and will. Queen Nymeria was a wonderful warrior and Queen, with the willpower and courage to fight through every obstacle that presented itself to gain her ambitions. I believe this gorgeous kia has this same willpower and courage. The great Direwolf that bore this name stood up for those she loved, even though it cost her. She fought for her Lady and saved the girl's life in more ways than one. This Kiamara is a loving female that would stand up for what she believes in and those she cares for, no matter the cost. Like the wolf before, she won't back down and will always fight for what is right and to protect those that matter the most to her. For these reasons, I give this beautiful kia the name Nymeria.

A sigh escaped the young female as she put her camera aside, looking at the things in front of her. Two rusty old keys, strung together by who-knows-how-old twine, a swatch from an old dress, and a dandelion, all piled in a neat pattern on an old oaken table. She extended a lime paw towards her camera once more, focusing it again on the pile in front of her. Just as it perfected itself, a soft knock sounded on her door. A frown placed itself on the fae’s face, but the better side of her consciousness took over, and she walked towards the door. In front of her stood her brightly colored friend with a warm welcome cake.
“Hiya Nymeria!” Echo cried, a broad smile widening across her maw.
“Hello, Echo,” Nymeria replied, a harder edge taking form to her words more than she would have liked.
A frown fell upon the once happy Echo, and she tilted her head. “What’s wrong?” she pouted, the perfect picture of a sad puppy accenting her features.
Nymeria gave a soft sigh, then managed a smile. “Nothing. Just trying to get a decent photo out of these,” she explained, motioning towards her pieces.
A brief look of remorse crossed Echo’s face before lighting up once more. “Guess what? I finally made a good cake!” she cried, handing it over to Nymeria.
Crimson eyes fell on the cake, which warmed her tender heart. The cake was decorated with icing to make it look like a rather colorful butterfly. “It’s a coffee cake,” Echo added quietly, watching her friend’s face change with her emotions.
Getting a pleasant idea, Nymeria wandered back over to her things, placing the cake amongst them. The cake cast a shadow over the keys, making them look even more vintage than they already were, which in turn highlighted the accents on the scrap of dress. The dandelion pulled it all together, working with the cake to give it an overall happy appearance as well as adding a breath of new vibrancy.
Nymeria snapped a few pictures from different angles, making sure she was completely satisfied. “Echo, this is perfect. Just what I was looking for,” she chuckled, looking over warmly at her friend. She grabbed the cake, along with a knife, and cleared the table so she could set it with two plates and two forks. She cut the cake with artistic precision, then put a hardy slice onto each plate.
“Better to experience and enjoy things with friends anyway,” she laughed, pulling out a chair for Echo before sitting down herself. The two friends smiled at each other, then dug in to the delicious cake.
The following poems are written from the perspective of Nymeria to her crush, Locien [pronounced Loc-Key-En]

Two roses, to be twisted,
one red, one black,
one to love, and one to turn its back,
that's the story of me.
I saw you, and my heart raced a mile,
you take steps, and the girls to follow,
and my heart turned hollow,
I wouldn't get you, you're to.... Perfect.
Even though you're rude sometimes,
you're still pure on the inside,
we could go together, on life's twisty slide,
and we could be each other's.
Our memoirs could be photos,
snapped, to be paused in time,
I could be your's, and you could be mine,
if only you noticed me.

I know you see me.
Gazing out to you,
wanting you,
wanting you for me.
Are you the key to my heart?
I want to know,
to know,
so I can unlock my heart.
Photos being snapped.
memories captured and trapped,
captured and trapped,
Photos, will they be snapped?
Your feelings get in the way.
You arrogance and popularity,
drifts you away from me,
drifting away,
your feelings.

As the key was set in the wooden door's hole,
Nymeria exchanged a fearful look with the world she was leaving. Her friends, Locein,
Echo, and Jekyll only stared back at the Kiamara. "Here goes nothing." And
the curious but frightened creatures went through the door. The door creaked.
-
Gasps filled the air, but they only did so for a moment. Birds's terrified screeches
sliced through the air, accompanied by the echo of frustrated wings flapping.
Colorful gnarled trees covered the area of where 'Meria and her pals stood. Their
roots were long and curled. Everything was different here. The sun was as blue
as the oceans back home, but yet, nothing familiar seemed to exist in the land. Where
the strange, neon trees' roots didn't stray and where no birds flew above was a door.
It was painted dark, with glowing flowers dangling in the background of it. Small
cats with long, narrowed ears stared at the foreign Kiamaras as if they could
actually see them. A golden keyhole declared the creative door as its own,
bold and shiny against its radiating features. Echo's voice boomed among
the screeches and the silence of the friends in shock ad awe. "I think we
should explore some more." With a wordless agreement, the animals
filed in a single-file line through the door.
-
Again were the sounds of awe and foreign sounds mingled together to
form a harmony. The creatures Jekyll had nicknamed "bunny-cats"
absent-mindlessly meowed, licking and grooming themselves. They
bounced about every once in a while, although, it seemed more like a
planned sort of thing. They munched on the flowers that glowed marvelous
colors, eating the stems and leaving the flower to rot. A camera clicked.
Immediately, 'Meria swung to meet her friends' eyes, searching for the
holder of the camera. It was Locien. He grinned at the embarassed female.
"I thought some pictures would serve us some good." he said, in
that voice of his that made her knees go wobbly. Thing was, that camera
wasn't any ordinary camera. It was 'Meria's camera. She sighed. "Just,
never mind, ugh." she whispered, mostly to herself. And the traveling
companions went through another door, a slick, mysterious black that
betrayed no stains.
-
It was a door to a house. Just an ordinary house. The scent of Kiamaras was
evident in the household. Extremely. The house held memories that no key
could unlock, just something everyone could share. On a small, round table,
lingered the scent of chocolate cookies, homemade. And there they were,
awaiting for these creatures to eat 'em up. Jekyll held a note in his hands,
from the small table carrying the cookies. He read it aloud. "Ay, perhaps
you chums should head up home, eh? Enjoy the cookies while you can, dem
bunny-cat things munch right up if you don't get there in time." Jekyll
had an extremely hard time portraying an Irish accent. The signature at the
bottom of the note was vague, and the bunch concluded it was smudged by
Jekyll's dirty paws. "Let's go home, chums." 'Meria said. And they went
though another door, ending up at the town's 27th annual Easter egg hunt.
by wildherb - wrote:xXxI woke up and stretched. "Another new day!" I said to Echo who was sitting next to me. We were having a slumber party. Today we had planned on doing whatever we felt like.
"Morning!" Echo said, in her cheerfully optimistic voice.
"Morning." I replied.
"Whatcha wanna do today?"
"Hmm… Eat." I said, thinking of the cupcakes we had baked last night.
"And….?"
"Drink coffee and chase butterflies to photograph?"
"Is that all you ever do?" Echo said jokingly.
"What do you want to do?" I chuckled.
"I want to explore the woods!" She said with hope in her eyes.
"Ok." I said, thinking about all the possible butterflies to photograph. All the trees, and flowers, and nature, and………… Happiness. So fun to photograph. My stomach grumbled. "Let's go eat."
We walked into the kitchen, slowly going down the stairs. As we turned the corner into the kitchen, I knew something was wrong. There was a smell. Or rather, a lack of one. Where was the smell of cupcakes and a bag of ground coffee beans? We walked around the kitchen before remembering that I had put away the coffee into an airtight container and the cupcakes were in the microwave. "Phew!" I said. I carefully opened the coffee container and made some nice, hot coffee. While it was being made, we took out the cupcakes and iced them. "Hey, we should probably pack bags to bring with us on our exploration today. If we carefully pack them, we could probably bring some cupcakes." I said quietly.
"Yeah. Maybe we can even make some strawberry lemonade, since I love it so much." She said in a normal, cheery voice.
"Sure! We could put it in a bottle that will keep it cool, and stick the coffee in a bottle that will keep it warm. Ooo, but maybe iced coffee would be good…Yeah, that might be nice…" I said, trailing off. "But we'll have to do dishes first. We used them all up last night." I murmured, grabbing the soap and sponges.
"Let's start right away!" Echo said.
After we had finished the dishes and packed everything, it was already noon. As we headed out I grabbed a blanket and shoved it in my bag. We walked around the woods for a while, before settling down to eat a picnic in a clearing. After eating we packed up and continued on our way. "Woah, look at that butterfly!"
"Where?"
"On the hyacinth over there!"
"That's not hyacinth. It's a butterfly bush."
"Oh. Well, they look similar." I said, snapping pictures of it. Echo playfully batted at it when I had finished, causing a whole group of them to flutter away.
"Let's go!" Echo shouted, running after them. I laughed aloud and chased after her. "Eek!" I heard her screech. I caught up and saw her tangled in a pile of burr plants with the stickers all over her fur.
"Oh no!" I said, pulling out some scissors. "Better cut you free! Time for a weird fur cut! Some of those look pretty tangled."
After cutting them all out, I looked around. It was a pretty dead place. There were dead plants everywhere. And creepy carcasses. Even the butterflies lacked color. It was downright depressing. "I say we leave. I'm getting kinda spooked."
"Yeah." Echo replied, her voice echoing in the cave nearby. "I want adventure, not death. Let's go." She started to walk away.
"Wait!" I called. "I see something bright down there. Is it-"
"It's an animal!" Echo interrupted. "We have to help it! It looks trapped down there!"
Even though it was a far drop, I saw little steps to use to get down. I was nervous, but Echo was right. The animal needed us. "I'll go first. Follow me." I said as I jumped down onto the ledges. As I neared the last step, I looked up. Echo was close behind, luckily. Some rocks started to slide down right at us. "Run!" I shouted, fear making me move fast. I leaped down and made a sharp turn toward the barren field of dead dreams. Echo was on my tail. Suddenly I stopped short. I realized it wasn't a field enveloped in fog; it was a cliff with a sharp drop down farther than the eye can see. Echo tumbled into me, pushing me off the edge. As I fell, I realized it wasn't as far as the eye can see. It was only 15 feet. Just enough for me to feel pain as I landed heavily on my leg. "Ouch!" I cried out in pain. "Echo, are you there?"
"I'm here. Are you ok? I'm going to come down there. Just wait for me."
"No! Don't!" I shouted up. "You'll hurt yourself! Use the rope I stuffed in your pack. I think there's a big rock you can tie it to. Just lower it down. I can get up with it, but you'll have to pull." I said calmly while I freaked out. "You might need the other creature's help. Go get it. I will try to tie my pack to the rope when you drop it. There are scissors inside that you can use to cut branches. Hurry." I took out my coffee, along with a blanket and a blow up pillow. Wow, I had packed well. I blew up the pillow and sipped my coffee. After spreading out the blanket, I set the pillow down to elevate my injured leg. I took out the camera that had, luckily, survived the fall. I looked at all the pictures. Suddenly, A rope came down again and the end landed with a thump beside me. "Hello?" I asked.
"Hey." Echo's familiar voice shouted. "I freed the creature, but it bolted. Send up your stuff first, and then I'll pull you up." She said as I tied all my stuff in the blanket, and then to the rope. She pulled it up, and then sent it back down for me. I gulped, and tied it around myself. My injured leg felt… broken. I started up the steep slope. It was almost completely bare, and straight up. There was only the occasional paw hold.I used them, though. Soon I was up with Echo, both of us breathing heavily. "Where's our stuff?" I asked, looking around frantically.
"I put our sacks over there. The rockfall cleared it out." Echo responded, gesturing to a small cave. "I figured we could stay there and wait for the ambulance I called to get here. I don't exactly know where we are, so I gave them a description of it. I hope they get here soon."
"Me to. Can you help me get over there? I think I broke my leg." I said. Echo paused a moment, catching her breath. I closed my eyes to catch my own, and then I felt her pick me up and walk me over to the opening. My eyes shot open. "What the….? What are you doing?"
"Carrying…. you…. over…. there…. You…. asked…. me…. to…. help." She said between breaths. As she laid me down on a grassy area just inside, I told her thanks. Again, she caught her breath, ran out, and returned moments later with my blanket full of stuff. We both laid down and closed our eyes. When we awoke, I was in a hospital, and she was there beside me. My leg was in a cast. "What happened?" I asked. Is my leg-"
"The doctor says your leg is broken. The ambulance arrived after you fell asleep. I told them that you needed the rest, and that you were a sound sleeper. They put on the cast while you were asleep." Echo said softly. Gosh, she was such a good friend. They didn't come any better than Echo. "Now, rest some more. Oh, and I ran home. Here's some fresh coffee. Decaf." She said soothingly. I closed my eyes and fell asleep again. When I woke up, echo was next to me. She must have had someone drive us home. A pair of crutches were propped up next to my bed. Echo had used printed tape to cover them with color, and added pillows to the armpads. Gosh, I love my best friend so much. All the adventures...
