What is a Jellybean Dragon?
A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored, neat, and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are mostly gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

They Day she Found her Kitten(Spark)


One day , Amber-Snap woke up, like she always did. She brushed her teeth, combed her fur, and ate Eggs and Bacon. She contacted all of her friends -- to see if they wanted to hang out together -- but all were busy. So, instead, Amber-Snap decided on passing the time with television. She picked up the remote, aimed it at the tv-set, and clicked. A TLC show filled the screen -- Snaff turned it on in time to watch the intro. Soon, however, she lost interest. Grabbing her DS, which happened to be on the side-table to her right, Amber-Snap played Super Mario... she just couldn't do it. The gamer that seemed to live within her simply wasn't active today. Frustrated, she left the comfortable couch; it was time to take her hand at baking. Once again, it was a miserable failure. The cake simply deflated, no fire (psssh, what are you talking about?!) Right after that , she tried to get sleep;she kept having Nightmares about another JBD named Night killing her. After the nightmare, Amber-Snap found herself jolting up, now awake. Perhaps a walk would help, or so she thought. Off she went, into the {pick her favorite season and then add the appropriate temperature she walked into the chilly winter/December afternoon, the freezing wind creeping through her fur. On she walked, perhaps an hour or more, with no direction. Till, that is, she heard mewing around the nearby corner. Naturally, Amber-Snap was curious. She peaked her head around and witnessed a little Calico-Tabby mix mewling pitifully. She picked it up ;it started to purr. She nuzzled it. Things like this were called love at first sight. Off the two went, Snuff carrying the little kitten, who clung to her fur. Quickly, with the little money she happened to be carrying, she visited the local pet-shop for supplies. They were the essentials only; a bed, food, water bowl, food bowl, and brush. They'd have to improvise on the toys. Once home, the kitten was free to frolic and play. She decided to name her Spark -- such a colorful pelt could be deemed "sparky" (or perhaps sparkly!). That night, the joy she felt overwhelmed her, almost fighting off sleep.

Snaffs popped a sweetart in her mouth. She shivered and giggled, rolling on her back. "I'm eating sweeetarttsssss~" Snaffs yelled in a singsong voice.
Rio turned, "Can ya keep it down Snaffs?"
Snaffs frowned and crossed her arms, "Fine..."
Snaffs shoved more Sweetarts in her mouth and bounded around. She went to jbds asking, "Would you like Sweetarts?" Most said no but one dragon said yes, Pluie.
Snaffs grinned and gave her Sweetarts. Then her and Pluie played and talked and giggled...Snaffs thought she might have a new friend.

Snaffs is always excited over something new. She's always curious and has a thirst for knowledge! Not that she's the brightest out there, but at least she tries. Snaffs is the most daydreamer bean ever! You'll have a hard time bringing her back down to earth once she's started daydreaming. She's always got her head in the clouds. However, she tries her best to be patient with everyone, but Snaffs sometimes loses it. She is a very friendly bean, and loves being friends with everyone and meeting new people. As every living bean, she has flaws, which are primarily that she thinks she can please everyone,not realizing there's got to be some bean who won't like her. Because of this, erm, issue, she tends to try too hard to impress others. She is also an order freak. Everything. Has. To. Be. In. Order. She reorganizes her bookshelf every two days! The table has to be set in an exact way, her chair has to be in the same position, every hair on her pelt has to be smooth... Well, you got an idea.
Snaffs loves the outdoors. It helps her connect with herself, and to figure out her problems as well... Sort of zen-like!

as many of you know, Snaffs was previously in a relationship with Jazzepi's bean, Butter. Well, they are currently off. However, I am sure of many awkward moments to come, and who knows? Maybe they'll start up again...

Here's the story:

"I was just walking along the street, on my way to my hotel after arriving in New York, when I spotted a pink flower poking out of the pavement. Curious as to how it got there, I walked over to it.

It seemed that the flower had just grown there, against all odds. It was quite a lovely flower, pink with exactly 8 petals and it seemed to have pushed through everything holding it back, the unfertile dirt and the cold, gray pavement. Like it had troubles, but had gotten over them and held on, tried to survive, and thrived once it reached it’s impossible goal. It seemed to speak to me. So unique, amongst the gray of the sidewalk. Kind of like me… I thought.

I started to leave, after staring at the flower for longer than it should have interested me, but I couldn’t. At least, not without that flower.

So, I picked it up and tucked it behind my ear."

My friend wrote a little story to go with the picture, and I just had to put it in here.

story:



The dragon laughed and swirled her paw in the mud. The thin but steady stream of water dripped constantly on the stone, which would usually annoy someone, but this calmed her. Her paw made a swirling design in the mud, looking like a thin trail of smoke.

She smiled to herself, looking at her art. Her tail flicked in amusement.

A bird called in the distance. The dragon smiled and lifted her paw from the mud.

The bird called again. Five notes. A perfect arpeggio.

She lifted her head and called back to the bird. It flew past her, its feathers brushing her face, making her laugh. It was a sweet, musical laugh, like happiness bubbling up from inside of her.

She felt like herself outdoors. She felt real. Steadying her muddy paw firmly on the ground, she stood to watch the bird fly away, calling goodbye.

Her tail twitched and she blinked rapidly. Turning around, she spotted a tiny blue wing amongst the trees. A butterfly. Her tail swished back and forth.

It fluttered on the breeze, dancing with the wind. Birds chirped in the background, making lovely music to go with the dance. The wind whistled a lovely tune.

She had to follow. Her clumsy paws moved awkwardly at first, but it came with less and less effort, and soon she was dancing, just like the butterfly.

Her musical, bubbly laugh gurgled up from inside her again, as the she leaped and twirled to the music.

The breeze ruffled her fur as she danced. Free. Like the flittering flutter with whom she was dancing.

She leaped and spun and twirled. She sang with the birds. She danced with the butterfly.

The music had to end sometime. For a moment, she thought it would be never ending, eternal, and she could dance forever. But the music died, the wind calmed down, and the butterfly flew away.

But a part of her kept the song inside her, and she keeps it with her always.



W h y M e ?

I fell in love the moment I saw Snaffs was up for adoption. I remember it like it was only days ago.... Oh, it was only days ago. Well, I remember seeing she was up for adoption, and nearly fell out of my chair. She is simply gorgeous! And then, upon asking for art on the JBD chat, I discovered that my mentor Jazzepi's bean, Butter, was previously dating Snaffs. So I would simply love to role play Snaffs with Butter, so they can have plenty of awkward moments. I just... Oh gosh. She is so gorgeous. I'd love her to death. <3

story: Snapple, in the middle of summer, beside the river, acting lazy because the heat's calmed her down...

Snapple sat at the edge of the rock overtop of the river, paw under the water. It lazily dragged with the current, but wasn't being pulled away. She yawned, sleepy from the sun's rays of warmth hitting her back. "Geesh. I wish I had some lemonade..." she said outloud to herself, ear flicking back.
"What's a geesh..?" she asked herself, swirling her paw in a circle. She enjoyed the coolness she got from her paw being under the water. It calmed her down just a little. Snapple was starting to close her eyes when she heard seagulls above her.
She raised her gaze up to see them circling above her, not too far away. "Stupid seagull!" she called up, drowsy. "You'll never eat my paw..." she murmured, eyes narrowed at the bird. She felt like moving, but she felt too weak and lazy to do so.
"Lapalalalalala..." she whispered as she swirled her paw just a tiny bit faster. She giggled at herself, for no apparent reason. "Lapalapalalalapa."
She scooted closer to the edge, and felt her chest fur being washed by the small waves. She hung her head down, holding it up just slightly so she wouldn't drown. She began to giggle again. "Floatie-toatie..." she said as she watched a noodle go by, floating away with no owner.
"Floatie-toatie..." she whispered again as she was feeling herself slip towards the water. "Wheeeee..." she giggled, and then the water was engulfing her.
Snapple stayed under the surface for a few moments, looking at the sunlight shining through the curtain of blue. She released her breath and bubbles blotted her vision. She let herself float to the top, and bobbed her head out. She laughed, floating on her back.
"Water... I feel like going dancing right now. Are you okay with that..?" she asked, flipping over onto her stomach. She paddled lazily to the shore. "Gooo-bye, Water. Goooo-bye." she murmured, crawling out of the water. There she plopped down, giggling to herself again. "Goooo-gooo..."
Snapple was quiet for a moment. Then she broke the silence. "What is a gooo-gooo..?"

Dropping out, I know I can't win against the others who're trying out for her as well...
