Personality: Voltage is a determined, competitive Shionnix with a soft spot only for young pups- when they grow up he demands respect from them, and they better do it quickly before he decides to chase them out of his Clan. However, he loves every Shionnix when he warms up to them.
Story: (I'm not sure if Shionnix talk, but I'm doing it from Voltage's point of view so it will seem as if they are talking)

I wasn't always this way. The Alpha, the one everyone looks up to, the one everyone respects and needs. In fact, it was quite the opposite, long ago.. And this... This is my story.

I woke up, only to notice it was raining. You see, I was a pup, but I never knew my mother. My whole Clan was dark colored, and they all took care of me, but never liked me. Maybe the Alpha was my mother, maybe the Omega was... Who knows. The other pups didn't like me, and I taught myself everything I know. To tell you the truth, the feathers on my head? They were once only centimeter-long stubs throughout most of my puphood. When they started growing.. MAN, did everyone start respecting me! Maybe they did that because my fur also started to glow.. Anyways, even after that- after finding out that I was the next Alpha- things didn't get better. The pups and adults FEARED me- the Alphas respected me- I wasn't used to this. One day, I woke up to a horrific surprise- both Alphas were dead. Now, it was my turn to lead the Clan. My Clan, the one I grew to cherish and love, for they were all my family.

Name of Shionnix: Ambit
Personality: Well, this Shionnix certainly isn't afraid of speaking his mind. He's loud, perhaps just slightly obnoxious, and will tell you the truth no matter how blunt and hurtful it may be. He doesn't lie to people and would rather be honest to someone than go behind their backs and talk about them. He's highly opinionated about a multitude of things and usually speaks out his thoughts so long as they have something to do with whatever topic is being spoken about. If a random thought comes to mind, he often would rather keep that to himself than be the awkward one that pops in something that is completely off-topic.

He isn't quite one to show respect for others. In his mind, seeing as how he is alpha, Ambit believes everyone should show him respect and they should be greatful he is accepting it. He's very stuck-up and turns his back on the commoners from allowing them to get too close unless they somehow prove themselves worthy to be within his company more often than anyone else. He usually likes to be around others that are sort of like him, in a sense: boastful, proud, and full of themselves. Ambit is also a bit of a narcissus, thinking he's the most handsome thing to be walking around this planet; he's not narcissistic enough, however, to stare at his reflection for hours, but just enough to think everyone else is uglier than he is.

Like his markings, Ambit is almost always full of energy and is almost always running around doing something rather than sitting around with nothing to do. He enjoys doing just about anything so long as he can be the center of attention--his narcissistic behavior causes this, usually. If he is not being focused upon when around others, he gets angry and frustrated because he feels like he's being disgraced and ignored by those that should be giving him the utmost respect and politeness. He sometimes must demand attention but never becomes whiny about it, only commanding...and scary.
Story: Ambit frowned as he stared up towards the gloomy sky from the safety of the roots he hid beneath, the rain falling down at a steady pace; it was heavier than a shower but not at the point where it would be considered a down-pour. It had been like that for days, the rain never completely letting up; it varied between an easy shower to falling so heavy it was hard to see barely a few feet. For now it was within the middle of those ends of the spectrum and yet Ambit still disliked it. The young, black-and-yellow Shionnix had never been one for rain in the first place and he certainly wasn't about to begin liking it now. Even though he knew very well that he had to get home.

He didn't think it was completely his fault he had been out for so long. Even after the sun went down,

Reserved ~ Matrix doesn't say very much and keeps a lot to himself. He is usually just by himself, watching the others of his clan. Of course there are always those who follow him and he doesn't mind them too much. He doesn't actually speak to them but he allows them to follow him. Matrix does have a softer..ish spot for younger ones and will speak to them if they decide to speak to him.
Observant ~ Matrix is very interested in the little things in life. He can stare at somethings for hours, just studying the angle of something or the specks of different colours. He doesn't say anything aloud when observing but he definitely is putting whatever it may be in his memory. When the time comes, he can recite almost perfect details of the thing, a very good skill indeed when you have to memorize all the members of your clan.
Independent ~ Matrix always thinks he can do everything by himself, that he doesn't need help from the others in his clan. Sometimes it's true, but sometimes he does realize that he's bitten off more than he can chew. However he wouldn't stop trying to do whatever is needed by himself. He's, in a way, afraid of showing the others of his clan that he isn't able to do something, even though he's the alpha.
Obedient ~ Matrix was taught as a young'un that you have to follow what your elders say, always complete your duty, and respect everyone. He is very much like a soldier, very dutiful and respectful to others. Though, when members of his clan do need to be taught something, he doesn't hesitate into put them back into line.
Heartless/Cold ~ Matrix always seems to be heartless, always not showing any emotion at all to others. He doesn't care if he has to yell at someone or have to attack another shionnix. He does try to stray away from killing anything really. He's a male of no mercy.
Easily irritated/Almost always stressed/Easy to snap ~ Matrix can snap really easily and go from silent to a rage filled monster. He stresses out a lot because of the burden of his duties. Most of the time he really does try to shrug off his emotions but eventually it gets to a point where the littlest thing could make him break.
Regretful/Hateful to himself ~ Matrix regrets many things, especially from his past. He is very negative to himself too, always saying that he is a terrible shionnix because of his personality. He can never believe those who say that he is a good leader and he always regrets what he does or did. Somethings, he can't ever forgive himself for either.
The other side of him ~Matrix does have another side of him when he is with someone he has gotten to know very well. But it'll take a lot to get him to show that other side(Oh the clicheness!). Unless he fancies you, which has very slim chances.

Story:

Everybody's got a dark side

"Just leave me alone Fir." Matrix muttered quietly, unfolding his wings and beginning to take off. "Matrix! I'm not letting you go." The female said, standing in front of the male and preventing him from flying off. "What do you want?!" Matrix snarled, obviously ticked off. Fir looked at him, not at all intimidated by this dark side that Matrix showed often. "Tell me what is bothering you. Now." She demanded. "Leave me alone Fir!" He yelled, now extremely mad. "That is a command from your alpha!"

Do you love me?

Fir was taken aback at Matrix's words. "I'm sorry sir." She murmured, turning away and taking off. Matrix watched silently as his best friend flew away, leaving a visible trail of tears behind her. He cursed at himself and then sat down, deciding whether to go after her or not. "Damn it. I just had to take it out on her. I really am a terrible leader." Matrix said to himself. "I have to find her."
He brought out his wings and jumped off of the floating island they resided on, flying in the direction Fir flew to.

"Fir! Fir! Where are you?" Matrix called, flying around for hours. "Fir?!" He yelled, hearing the same voice from hours before. "Matrix! I'm down here!" Her voice called back, soft whimpers also being heard. Matrix looked downwards and saw Fir with a distorted wing. He immediately dived down towards his friend, his face showing much concern.

Can you love mine?

"My god, Fir! Are you okay?" Matrix asked, nuzzling Fir in a friendly way. "Yeah.. Yeah.." She said, wincing. "I'm such a terrible leader. I shouldn't have let you go like that Fir. I'm just a giant idiot. I shouldn't have let out all my stress on you and, an-" Matrix stopped as Fir interrupted him,"Matrix. Shh. It's alright. You came for me. I know that you're stressed out. You always were like this heh. But you're still my best friend." Fir smiled and nuzzled Matrix back. "It's going to be alright. Just.. We have to get back to the clan.. I think I broke my wing." She added, closing her eyes weakly. "Fir!" The male yelled, making Fir open her eyes. "Don't you close your eyes on me okay!?" He growled. " You aren't allowed to, that's a command from your best friend." Matrix smirked and got Fir onto his back.
" I'm sorry you know."
"I am too."

Nobody's a picture perfect

"I am a terrible leader."
"No you aren't Matrix. How come you always say that?"
"Cause it's true."
"No it isn't. What will it take to make you believe it?"
"Nothing. Everyone knows that my father was a better leader. I'm just here making him disappointed some how."
There was a moment of silence as Matrix thought of his long gone father.
"Matrix..."
"It's true. He died because of me. And here I am just being more a disgrace to him."
"Matrix! Don't say that. It wasn't your fault."
"It was. No matter what you say. Everyone knows it's true. Just forget it."

But we're worth it

The rest of the flight back was long and quiet.
Matrix laid Fir down and laid down beside her, letting her lean on him. "You're not a terrible alpha you know." Fir stated quietly, drifting off.
"I am a terrible alpha though. There's no denying it.. My father died for me."
"But I'm sure he thinks it was worth it."
"Fir..." Matrix frowned and turned away. "What? Matrix. You know he would be proud to die for you you." Fir replied with a small smile. "He had no reason to die for me. He really didn't." He stated bluntly. The female let out a sigh and smacked Matrix in a friendly way with her good wing. "What was that for?" Matrix asked with a growl, looking back to Fir.

You know that we're worth it

"Think of all you did. You made us all stronger. You made us proud to be in our clan. You changed our clan, for the better. Your father would be proud of you." She replied. "Your dad would be proud. And he knows that it was worth it." She added on, smiling. "And you led our clan when you were just a little kid. That isn't just anything." Fir giggled, smiling at the days when Matrix was a young teen. "Hey, I wasn't the only pip squeak." Matrix added with a grin at Fir. "Shush you." She said back, yawning afterwards.

Will you love me?

"Sorry for snapping at you before. I just couldn't deal with everything. Just..." Matrix let out a long, heavy sigh. "I'm terrible. I really am. You know it's true." Fir stayed silent as she waited for what Matrix was going to say next. "I know that I snap really easily and that I'm a huge jerk when it happens..."
"Buut. I know that you can be really kind and sweet when someone gets to know you." Fir added on with a big smile on her face. Matrix grinned back, knowing that there was someone who could deal with him.
"I love you Matrix."

Even with my dark side?

"And our story would have ended happily. Except now... She's long gone with my father."
