Damascus hates the ground, and rarely lands- in her eyes, you could see the days spent dancing through life, drinking from the highest,purest clouds and grazing on the tippy-tops of the very highest trees, hidden away in places never before seen by man.
You would learn for every secret location she permits you to see, there are five that she hides away, precious as any diamond to her and to be guarded as fiercely.
Most importantly, you'd learn what it was like to become one with the wind- how on some days Damascus will chase the windiest weather for the joy of getting blown across the sky, screaming in joy, while on others she's content to simply find the warmest thermal she can, and doze as she spirals into the sky, as effortless as any buzzard or eagle.

What would you learn from her eyes?: You would learn that, like the desert, she never rests. She is in a constant fight to survive. She trusts everyone and no one at the same time. She is secretive, protective and extremely fierce.
You would learn that deep inside even the prettiest girl can lie a heart of stone. That appearances are some of the most deceiving things in the word. That in a world like Saudi's, you have no time for looks. You would learn that survival is only for the fittest, that you are in constant wars to keep alive. That for some, death comes as a gift. A gift to free them from the world of war. You would learn that you never mess with a fighter. Especially one like Saudi.

What would you learn from her eyes?: Darzas is a sad, sad soul. When you look at her normally, all you would see is a friendly, bright-coated mare who has a spring in her step and a the wind under her wings. But when looking into those deep emerald-hued eyes of hers, one can see the sorrow that she has carried for a long time. It lays like a burden inside her, so that while her body and wings are free, her heart is heavy. Twins are hard on Avis, and it is the sad fate that one twin will be stronger, and the other weaker. And her dear little sister could not make it longer than a few days. Young Darzas may not have understood death, but she knew the pain of an empty gaping hole in her life.

What would you learn from her eyes?: When you look into her eyes, you can see the bright happiness of a life spent caring for everyone but herself. Her eyes shine with an unmatched optimism, but in the depths of her eyes you can see exhaustion worming its way through her emerald irises. You would learn that she's very methodical, too, and a very social and outgoing mare.

What would you learn from her eyes?: If you looked into her eyes originally you would just see beautiful green orbs. However, like an Iceberg if you look deeper you'll learn a whole lot more about the owner of these beautiful eyes.

Once you are past the green of her eyes you will find the fear that is hidden behind a straight face. The panic you see behind those eyes are causes not by your presence but by the past. The past fear and worry that attacked the shy young filly as she was growing up. The lack and loss having causes her to fear her safety, even in the safest of environments.

If you looked deeper you would see the filly that once pranced and neighrd to her hearts content, gone. You would see the wisdom of an elderly horse in a young mare who must fear the worse. The serious expression hints at this wise side if the mare. However this side shows how boring she can be.

If you dig a tad deeper you may see hints of a happy mare who loves her life but regrets a lot. You'll see the spark that is change, a good change. A need to change.

What would you learn from her eyes?: When you look into Ada's eyes, you dont see hurt and sadness, at first glance. After getting past the mossy green glow of bright, intelligent eyes, you can look deeper, and see that Ada is like the mon, part of her is always hidden. Under the intelligence, and the happiness, there is hurt, sorrow, and longing. A longoing for something she continuously reaches for, but can never grasp. Love.
