Name: Brently
Gender: Male
Story: Once upon a time, when Brently was just a young boy, he was given a key by his grandfather. He quite simply said, "This key, could being joy and happiness to someone very close to you." Brently was very nervous, considering it was that important but he just nodded, gulping. One day, when Brently was wondering along the street, kicking an old soda can among his paws, when he dropped the key down a train. He was mortified, and immediantly lifted the manhole to see what was down bellow. The key, was just gently resting on the edge, any sudden movement would jolt it into darkness. So extremely gently, Brently lay down, slowly lowering his tail into the gutter. He curled his tail, clasping the key and quickly lifting it. He ran home, and as soon as he got there, he tied the key on a piece of string and hung it round his neck.

When Brently was a lot older, he decided to move house. So he went up to the attic, to ensure there was nothing valuable to take with him. He searched through the old chest of drawers, dressing tables, and he came across a small, wooden box, with a lock in the top, he pondered, for a brief second... Maybe, that was what the key was for! He clicked the key into the box and gasped with delight, it fitted! He cautiously turned the key and
Intend the lid of the box and inside, was a beautiful silver ring. He slowly removed it, and ran downstairs to ask his mother who's it was.

His mother was overwhelmed with joy, it was her wedding ring, she had put it in that same jewellery box, but when they had moved to the current house, she thought she had lost it! Brently's father was also extremely happy, and Brently knew, his Grandfather, had been right.

Hi, i'm .Missy.

Image
His name would be Duke, but other call him Dust or Whisp

Image
A male! He is so… so masculine!

Image
Ermegehrd, I wish this was able to be W.I.P :C

Duke strolled by a river and noticed a crowd of JMDs near a bench by the side of the water. He padded up to them and saw a scrawny little one in the middle of big guys, chanting 'Dunk! Dunk! Dunk!'

The little JMD looked scared as another big one picked him up by scruff and dangled him over the water.

Duke ran over to him and growled. "Let go of him!" Stepping forward, he narrowed his eyes. His tail flicked as he nodded to the small JMD.

The big JMD shrugged. "Mmffk," he said, muffled behind the scruff. He then let go of the JMD over the river and laughed as he the small one splashed into the ice-cold water.

Duke couldn't stand it. He rammed into the big JMD and then dove into the water, grabbing the scrawny guy by the scruff. Pulling him to shore, he realized he was grey and boney, with protruding ribs and shaky legs. His fur was ruffled and ripped, and he was bruised badly. Dusk pitied him. "Come on, you can come with me," he invited, leading the JMD away from the crowd. Looking over his shoulder, Duke watched the bullies.

The big one was on the ground, cringing with pain. He growled and looked back at Duke. But Duke shrugged, laughed, and kept walking to catch up with the small JMD.

When they got home, The small JMD perked his head and pulled out a soda can from his bear-skin sack. "I'm Clay… Whats your name?" He asked Dusk, his tail high in the air. "Also, would you like some soda?" He opened the can and smiled. "I heard if you win a key, you get a prize!"

Dusk nodded. "I'm Dusk. And I'll have some soda, yes," he watched Clay shove the can towards him. Picking the can up by his tail, he felt something drift into his mouth. Coughing, he spit it out. "A k-key," he whispered, looking at Clay. "A key!"

"A key!" Clay repeated, jumping in the air. "We must take it to town hall. Behind the building, there is a door. I think, just maybe, you can unlock it with that exact key," he said, thinking carefully. "Lets go!" He headed for town hall, making sure Dusk was on his heels.

Dusk followed, and when Clay broke, he bumped into the small JMD. "Sorry," he apologized before walking to the door. He stuck the key in and turned it. With a long, loud moan, the doors swung open and inside, was a silver ring, with a note. It was placed carefully on a stand with the sunlight from a small crack in the ceiling just illuminating the objects. First, Dusk read the letter. It said this exact message:

'Congrats to you, my lucky one. You have found the king's ring from centuries ago. It is worth hundreds of dollars. Treasure it, and remember, keep it safe!'

Dusk read it out loud and reached for the ring before turning to Clay. "You deserve it… You need the money," he purred.

Clay stammered. "R-really? I uhh… thank you so much Dusk!" He hugged Dusk and put the ring in his pouch. "Why don't we go home now and browse houses for sale?" He asked, looking at the ring inside the sack.

"Why not?" Pondered Dusk before traveling home.
The end C:

{I hope you don't mind… Clay isn't a real JMD, I just needed him for the story line}
going to be on hiatus, i'll come on time to time

One day, I decided to take a walk through town, by the docks. All the shops where on a 'board walk' over a large lake, farther than the eye can see. It may be an ocean, but I wasn't the expert on lakes here. I paused to look inside of a sweet shop, where the humans sat, and dined. I went over to a counter, and a kindly waitress gave me some orange sherbert, in a cup. Boy, did it taste good. I then, sat down, against the railing overlooking the ocean/lake. I saw an old Jewelie approach me. Some of his hair was turning gray, but his eyes were still a sharp blue color. Before I could say anything, he grabbed my arm, in a tight grip. He put a silver soda-can into my hand and said these words. "Use this when you need it most" and walked off. I was still in shock, after being grabbed like that, and pried the soda can from between my fingers. I was about to throw it off the board walk, when something caught my eye. It was gold, and had rigged edges. A word formed in my head. Key. After stepping on the soda can for a bit, it finally broke open. I retrieved the key, and proceeded to throw the remaints of the silver bottle, off the board walk.

I went home, and started to look at old keys on the internet. Nope. Not it. Nope. That's not even the right color. None seemed to fit, when finally I saw it. I clicked the picture, and something popped up. Legends say, this key is used to open the box, which contains the fabled "Ring of Eternity". It is said, that when the king, King Efern, was dying, he put his soul into the ring. The ring is said to bring eternal life, to whoever wears it. Yet scientist say... I stop reading there. I look up 'Ring of Eternity' and find where its origin is said to be. I look at the clock. Almost midnight. I shut my computer off, and grab a shovel. I started biking towards the place, it says the ring is. As I get to the place, I see no one around. I'm in a dark alleyway, and I take out a piece of paper, where I quickly scribbled how to find the ring. "5 bricks up, from the bottom. 4 blocks left, then one down." I mumble, concentrating. I press the brick I come to, and wait.

I'm almost about to leave, when a panel slides open. Inside is the most amazing thing I've ever seen. It was a box, with gold designs all over it. I see suns, and moons, and star, but the real surprise is when I lift it up. On the top of the lid, is a god design of King Efen's face. As I slide the key into the lock, I hear a small click. The box springs open, on surprisingly quiet hinges. Inside, is the most amazing thing of the night. A silver ring, but the real beauty is the emerald, which sits proudly, ontop of the ring. It seems to glow, as I turn it over in the moonlight. Just as I slip it onto my finger, I feel a sharp blow to the left side of my head. Everything goes black.

When I awaken, I'm tied to a chair. A white light shine on my face, which I have a muzzle on. It prevents creatures for barking, but in my case, crying for help. I see a white door, a few yards away. I'm trying to devise a plan, when I see three shadows appear out from it. The tallest one, points an object at me. I see the barrel briefly, but long enough to know its a gun. At that point, I'm screaming my head off, even with the muzzle on. I hear a gruff, 'Where's the ring?" I pretend I don't know what their talking about, when secretly I'm sliding the ring into my pocket. I feel something in my hand, which is the key. I feel the sharp edges, digging into my paw when I have an idea. I start sliding the key, up and down the ropes when they leave, saying something along the lines of " If the ring isn't where we found you, you're dead". When I saw through the rope, about a half hour later, I think I hear my captors car. I dash to the front door, and see the shadowy figures standing there. I hear a shot, and try to duck.

But then, I wake up.

Username My username, of course, is camelopardalis.
Name I decided to name this boy Nuage.
Nuage is the french word for cloud, and of course that's exactly what I
thought of when I saw this JMD. He reminds me exactly of a cloud- his
markings and colors- I especially loved how the orange looked with it
all. He just looked so amazing, and I thought that Nuage, cloud, fit him.

Gender Male, duh.

My Story
Nuage smiled as the clouds drifted by. I smiled at him as he pointed out different shapes- first there was a hippopotamus, and then he apparently spotted an orange.
“How do you know it’s an orange and not just some other circular thing?” I asked him. It seemed funny to me how he was able to notice just about everything- but then again, that was Nuage. “Well, you can see because the stem is peeking out there, and see how it has small dimples?” I looked and saw. To just about anyone else, it would have looked normal.
I smiled and then asked the grey JMD, “Hey, Nuage, want to go indoors for some pineapple juice?” This was his favorite drink for some unknown reason and he really was in love. He smiled at me. “Sure!”
I got out the cans and shook them. Luckily for me they weren’t fizzy, or you don’t even want to know how many times I would have gotten splashed by pineapple juice. Nuage took his and opened it. It sprayed all over his face.
“Bleugh! What is this?” He licked the stuff off his lips and then spat it out. I checked the label. “Oh, sorry Nege. It’s soda!” I smiled at him and handed him another can, this time of pineapple juice. He opened it and began drinking, tossing the old can into the trash.
The rest of the day passed without incident. It wasn’t until dinner that I noticed the key to the attic was missing. “Hey Nege, do you know where the key went?” He shrugged. “Search me,” His eyes widened as he realized something. “I am supposed to have it! Because you went to the pool and asked me to take care of it-” I nodded. “Where is it, then?” He shook his head mournfully. “I have no idea…”
The rest of the night we spent searching for the key. I looked everywhere, to out on the roof where we had been watching clouds to under all the furniture in the house. It simply wasn’t anywhere.
Dejected, we both sat down for some more juice. (Pineapple again, duh!) Nuage appeared deep in thought- his eyes were gazing out into space and he had a worried expression on his face. Sipping the pineapple juice, he had a face, and startled I looked over. “What is it?”
He smiled and told me where he thought the key was. I slapped myself on the face. Of course! “Well, that was stupid.” I said. “Searching for the can like that, I mean.” He nodded his agreement.
I went outside, and found the trash bag. Opening it up- I supposed I looked like a raccoon- I dug through it until I found what I was looking for- the discarded soda can.
See, when the can had spit into his face, the key had broken loose from where he tied it onto his bandanna and fell into the now empty soda can. He then threw it away, and the key with it.
I walked back into the house, grinning. “I found it!” Nege smiled back and then asked the question I had been waiting to hear; “Can we go up into the attic?”
It was a place of mystery to him, but I decided against him going in- until now. I jumped up the steps, him close behind, and turned the lock on the door.
Nuage was amazed and walked around in awe. I smiled at him. He was so-
“Hey!”
My thoughts were interrupted by Nuage’s shriek. “I found something!” He said excitedly. I noticed nothing. “Where?” He pointed in a direction, and on the ground I could see a shimmer of silver. It was a ring!
My sharp eyed little detective had solved yet another mystery- and found a old (dating back to the 1800s) ring, too!

Name:
Neo
Gender:
Male
Story:
Neo mumbled quietly to himself as he walked down the little path, kicking a can with him. It bounced off of the earth and then fell still again, where Neo again tossed it away with a paw. The sun was at it highest peak, and it was a Saturday. Neo had nothing to do, so he went on a nature walk.
Neo had been doing this since he was young, following the same trail. He even created his own little secret hideaways here and there. Neo kicked the can again and it pinged away. Neo ran up to it this time and kicked it again, quickly. It was sent flying.
As Neo rounded up to the can again, he caught sight of his mark. A bronze and rusted key, hanging by an old but sturdy string. Neo kicked the can over, and saw the worn path in the long grass he had made. Neo had been coming her for a while, it was his most recent hideaway. He pulled the key and strong down, and tied them to his leg. They were just little accessories he had picked up on the trail before.
Neo walked along his own trail, glancing at his surroundings. Even though it was his most recent hideaway, it seemed oddly familiar. A little bit like deja-vu. As Neo heard the trickling of a stream, he knew he was close.
The can only had to be kicked once more, over a bush, to land in the hideaway. The key knocked gently against Neo's legs as he sent himself over the bush, and landed in the clearing. It had a stream running right through the middle, with brambles, bushes and long grass circling around the whole area. So it was pretty private.
The clearing did stop abruptly a few feet after the stream, where it dipped down. There was a cliff there, with another clearing at the bottom. After that clearing was a thick forest.Neo rarely goes on the other side of the stream, though. The time he did, he nearly slipped down the cliff.
Neo gave the can a light kick, and it plopped into the water. As it hit the surface, little drops were sent flying up. They hit Neo, but Neo didn't mind. He watched the can bob down the stream. Then he saw something. With nimble hands it reached out and snatched the can.
Neo watched and then saw the bushes rustle. The can was tossed aside, and Neo saw the tip of it disappear down the cliff. Neo snapped his head at the sound of water being disturbed. The animal was darting across the river as it saw the key shine when the sun hit it. Neo quickly recognized the animal as a raccoon.
It fearlessly reached out for the key as soon as it stepped on land. Neo pulled his paw away, unafraid of the little animal. It was very small compared to him. The raccoon suddenly puffed up and hissed, its attack-mode switching on. Neo noticed the long claws on it, easy for tearing or cutting the string. Neo curled his lip up. The raccoon taking the unwanted can was fine, but the key? No.
The raccoon lunged forward, and Neo dodged. But the raccoon hissed more menacingly this time and leaped towards Neo. Neo flew across the stream easily, but the raccoon was already bounded across. Neo felt claws rake his side as he was attempted to be attacked a third time. Neo jumped forward, and he saw the distance to the clearing at the bottom of the cliff.
Neo felt his head swarm, but before he could do anything, the raccoon lunged on him. Neo tipped forward with the extra weight, and his bandana flew into his face, blocking his view. He couldn't fly, because the raccoon had one of his wings pinned. Neo flailed his legs hopelessly, knowing that he was coming closer to the ground.
The ground connected with Neo's body, making all of his muscles fail. He gave in and ended up as a crumpled heap. The raccoon wasn't there anymore, and Neo heard it scampering away into the brush. Neo raised his head, still dazed.
Then, there it was. That old silver ring, in the trail that the raccoon had fled along. Neo's eyes widened and he scrambled toward it. The raccoon didn't notice it, as it was buried underneath a thin layer of dirt. It had just uncovered it while it was running. Neo reached out and took it. He had lost this ring when he was young. It had been given to him by one of his best female friends, who always went on adventures and made hideaways with Neo.
Neo put it on, after brushing off the dirt from it. It felt very odd there. Neo stood slowly, his legs shaking. A little bit of blood dribbled where he stood, and Neo looked at his wound. It wasn't that bad. Neo flapped his wings and rose into the air.
It made sense that this place was familiar. Neo and his female friend had come to the stream-clearing a few times, just to play. It all came back to Neo. How he had lost the ring.
They were sitting at the edge of the cliff, watching the sun set. Neo was playing with his silver ring, when he couldn't catch it. It fell down, somewhere below the cliff. Neo and his friend panicked slightly, but they went home. They couldn't look for it that day, because night would soon be coming.
The day after, they both went there again. Neo and his friend searched for the ring, but they never found it.
Neo smiled. At least he had found the ring again. He set himself down in the clearing and went back up his trail. He'd had enough of his adventure for today.
