Crisp and golden, Autumn is a time of change. A time of colour. Golden, amber, organge, you name it. Red, brown, yellow. All the colours that remind you of autumn. Leaf piles, piles of fun. Fun for all, All about changes. Autumn prepares the forest for the change of weather. It is crisp and sharp.

Its tune spoke to the trees, embracing them in a warmth only Autumn may bring.

Autumn is life in extremis, beautiful and bittersweet. Forests on fire; red, orange, yellow, green. A blaze defying death, making the most of the little time left, before leaves must fall to the ground, crackling brown and forgotten beneath our feet. It is a juxtaposition of fear and joy -dread for the end, and a celebration of all that has been. Autumn is the falling of the flames, the rejoicing of those who have forgotten what it is like to die.

I wanted to give a picture not of the wilderness, but a glimpse of the cities it effects. It gives a warm touch to the busy and at times harsh lives that live in those areas. Many find it their favorite season where the temperature could be cold and windy, or sunny and bright. Either way, it's definitely my favorite season.

Two lines about Autumn:
As the leaves fall, it signifies the concluding end to our year when winter is at the brim of arrival. Those leaves that had stuck through thick and thin throughout the year have finally had their time to drop.. Perhaps it's our time now to let go of the old?
