Oracle wrote:"I was just sitting in my den late one night (i'm nocturnal), and i heard a huge crashing sound above my roof. As rocks cascaded down onto my head, and covered most of my books, I became extremely angry and flew out of the den. There was a human on top of where I just was, and she seemed out cold.
I nudged her shoulder, 'Hey, are you alright?'
She rolled over, and her hand fell on my paw, which I quickly drew back. 'I-i'm okay. I think.' she moaned.
'How the heck did you end up here?' I asked her.
'I was riding... LUNGIS!' she jumped up and ran over to where a big white blob of fluff with blue wings was stretched over a gigantic boulder that I used to sit on all the time.
'Hey, is he okay?' I shouted.
'I'm alright!' the blob of fluff, which I assumed to be Lungis since the girl was searching him for wounds. He was now on his back, and his leg kicked when she scratched him under his chin.
'Okay, well, i hope you guys are going soon.' I said, not trying to be rude (I have since learned there is a difference between 'Trying Not' and 'Not Trying'), 'Cause I need to get working' I said, pointing with my tail towards my den.
'Oh, we can help!' the girl said. 'I'm Tamra, by the way. and this is Lungis.'
'I'm Oracle.'
'Well, how long will it take for the three of us to fix up your den?' She asked me.
I did a facepaw, remembering that it was a weeks' journey to the bookstore that I got the books, that had been ruined, and two weeks from there to the place I got the special heat-resistant rocks, for when I couldn't control my anger and my fire powers reared up.
'You guys just go home. I'll figure all this out.' I said to them, and felt my jewels burning up with my fury.
'Well, what do you need?' she asked.
'Those books, those Edgar Allen Poe books, they were one of a kind!' I screamed, and the jewel on my tail began to flame. "They were fire proof, and signed!' I shouted even louder, and both of my gems soon engulfed in flames.
All I felt was wetness. My body felt like all the fur had been ripped off, and my jewels, like they shriveled up to tiny rasins. After a minute of spazzing out on the forest floor, I regained my composure, and jumped out of the puddle that had been produced from Lungis, who had apparentally sprayed me with his water abilities. My muscles ached, and everything was blurry. The human was over top of me in seconds, and I felt her hands go through my face fur, which I was glad to realize was still attached, and yell at the Dragon.
'You know that you can't do that to a Fire dragon! What were you thinking?'
'I-he-i... -he was going to hurt you!' the dragon said.
'He was not!' she said, and everything went black.
When I woke, I was in a human-den. I moaned, then looked around. I was astonished at the amount of books there was in this place. It seemed like every book in existance was on these shelves before me. I followed the alphabetical rule and found Edgar Allen Poe. Every book of his, and all were signed! I screamed with joy.
'You like it?' the human from before appeared behind me.
'Oh, my, is this your house?!' I asked her.
'Yupp. You are welcome to stay here if you'd like. I'll try to keep Lungis under wraps.'
'Um..'
'Well, I kind-of owe you... We did ruin your den.'
'yeah, that's true.' I said.
'Alright, I'll stay.' I finally came to a conclusion. I have lived in this library ever since."
