As I walked around the garden of a dark, old, abandoned house, I heard the fluttering sound of light wings. I walked around the corner of the abandoned house. I saw a small pile of a cat that died long ago. The bones were small. I looked up a little bit and saw a black Flutter Ferret with the designs of bones on her fur. She had a rib bone from the pile. She twirled with it in her paws. Her eyes were open and distant. Her red eyes shown against the brilliant moon-light. Her bone glittered as if moon-light were trapped inside the bone. I looked briefly at the shining pile of bones. It seemed that the ferret loved the shining bones she held before her. As I reached for the shining pile, the soft flutter of her wings ceased. I turned my head to look at her and she was staring straight at me.

Convincing Her:

I slowed the pace of my hand as I gently picked up a shining rib bone. The ferret's glowing, red eyes followed my hand as I held the glittering bone. The ferret had dropped the original bone she had before. As I looked at the bone she once had, I noticed it wasn't shining like the other bones. It must have lost its shine. I held the shining bone out to the ferret. She watched it with reluctance in her glowing red eyes. The ferret took hesitant steps toward the outstretched bone. She raised her black and white paws to grab the glittering bone. She had her eyes closed as she picked the bone gently from my hand. She began dancing to a silent rythem close by. She twirled and hopped. I stood. I noticed her glowing eyes following my moves. I looked away to walk home. Little did I know the young Flutter Ferret was following with the glittering bone in her paws. The ferret was dancing to a silent tone as she followed. I didn't even try to stop her.

(I really hope to win Jane. She is just something I've always wanted. I promise to make sure she has her moon-light-bones every night.)

I was just walking around the Haunted House with my friend Sarah. "Hey look over there!" I say pointing to the Flutter Ferret. It had a black body with bone-like markings and a skull with cute red eyes. Sarah Screamed. I was not afraid. I slowly approached the ferret. I thought it was truly astonishing that I would find such a magnificent creature outside the Old Abandoned Mansion that was supposably haunted. I looked back to see Sarah walking off down the road. "Coward!" I yelled. "Am not! I just don't like that thing. what ever it is. Meet me by your house when your trough with that thing." she yelled back. I rolled my eyes turning back to the Ferret. "Now where was I?" I wondered aloud. The Ferret had payed no attention to me. Like I wasn't even there. It walked into the House and I followed her In. In my pocket I had a few things I wanted to try out.
Convincing Her:
I looked at the Ferret and once again tried to get it's attention. " Hello?!" I said sweetly. The Ferret finally looked at me. Her eyes looked gloomy and distant, like something happened long ago that's reflecting on her now. It was Halloween though. 'Maybe something happened on Halloween long ago that she remembers.' I thought. I stared into those red eyes for along time. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a violet flower bouquet. " Do you like these flowers?" I asked. The Ferret took the flower and looked at it for a long time. I noticed a small smile appearing across her face. I smiled. " you do don't you?" I asked. The Ferret gave a hesitant nod. I fumbled around in my pocket for something else to give her. Once I found what I was looking for I stood up and slowly walked over to her. I held up the item. It was My mother's locket with my picture in it. Before she died, she gave me the locket and reminded me that she had always kept it with her and it always made her think of me. " I want to give this to you. To remind you of me. though it's special and it means alot to me I still want to give this to you." I said fighting back tears. 'At least, If we become friends, I'll have you and my mother as a reminder.' I thought. I smiled. " Would you like to come home with me?" I asked. " I Promise I would take very good care of you. And it'll help me get over the fact that mom is never coming back." she said. I always hated myself for saying that but it's true. Life has been harder after mom passed away. It really was. My friends weren't helping at all. They would sometimes bring up the subject at the worst possible time. Usually when I have a bad day. The Ferret looked at my surprised. " If you wan't to of course. but that's up to you. I have to get home anyway. Sarah's waiting for me...." I said trailing off. I really didn't want to leave this Ferret but I don't want to keep Sarah waiting. Before I turned to leave I put the locked around the Ferret's neck. " there. It looks good on you" I say smiling. I turned and left the Mansion hoping on my way home that the Ferret would follow me." Your Name Shall be Calypso." I said disappearing down the road.
