What is a Water Skipper?
A Water Skipper is a canine-like creature, that live anywhere near water. They are fast runners and fast swimmers. Each have three tails which help them swim in the water. Their tails may look fluffy, but they are really made of a lot of muscle. Water Skippers mainly use their tails to swim, so they need all that muscle. They have webbing in between their toes that is a more see-through color of their eyes. They use the webbing in their paws mostly to steer. They are blind, and therefore have large ears. They can hear up to fifty feet away. Their eyes come in white, gray, yellow, blue, green, and purple. On rare occasions they will have a different eye color. As a kit, they actually do have sight, but after their first time in the water, because their eyes are not made for seeing underwater, they begin to loose sight. Water Skippers eat bugs, arachnids, herbs, berries, fruits, fish, and small mammals. They will never eat human food. Their pelts can have three colors or more, up to seven as of what we've discovered so far. Their babies are called kits, and are the size of a human teenager's hand. The can grow to be 40cm (3.1ft) tall. They can live to be thirty years old.
