"My story? You want to know my story? I tell you now you'll regret this request. My story is one of pain, suffering, sadness. I was born to loving parents, on a small island off the coast of Hawaii. You won't find it there now,no,no one will. My full name? Palinekeki 'Ainakea 'Anolani A'ia'i. Meaning Princess, White land,of royal or heavenly character, and bright like moonlight shining. All of the things my parents thought I was. Now I am know as Mahina Ha'ina, Moonteller in Hawaiian. My parents King Mahi(strong in Hawaiian) and Queen Akahai(gentle in Hawaiian) were kindly and respected their citizens. But not all respected them. My Aunt Ho'okalakupuna(Magic in Hawaiian) was a powerful sorceress. She charmed the people, turning them against their king and queen. They attacked the castle. My mother, concerned for my well being, fashioned a makeshift basket and sent me afloat on the Pacific Ocean. I washed up on the Hawaiian beach. A fortune teller found me. She raised me in the arts of magic and fortune reading. But she disappeared, the only thing left of her...a single fortune. It told me the truth. My parents were alive,my kingdom had been taken over by my aunt...and I needed to dethrone her.My vast knowledge of magic and sorcery would help me.This was my destiny. The battle spanned for a week. Now do not be joyed for I did destroy Ho'okalakupuna. But along with her I destroyed my people,my island,my family. All were gone, erased from existence.I returned to my home in the Hawaiian forest. Many seek me. I tell them what they wish to know. I read the moonlight, tell prophecies...and await the day when Akamai 'Ekahi(Hawaiian for smart one) will return. She holds the answer, the key to bringing my family back. But no one may know of my past.It endangers me if they do.So what will it be curious one,a wiped memory...or death?
