"The Story of the Courageous Rune"

"On my travels once more, I have come across a Rune who seems to roam just as much as me! This little Rune Dragon is not without courage, and even though it seems to be on an endless journey, the dragon never seems to gives up on it. It is quite silent however, except for the occasional grunt or two when battling with it's tiny sword or dodging and rolling. The thing that seems to talk more is the little fairy that always accompanies this Rune. The thing won't shut up! Constantly nagging and telling us all to 'listen' after we keep saying we have no idea what it wants us to see. Well, besides that this Rune is quite the oddity at times and has a knack for finding strange contraptions to help on it's so called 'quest' and such. This dragon even seems to have a rune mark in the shape of a Tri-Force! The emblem glows from time-to-time but what it's true meaning is has yet to be known. Though this Rune is small he is indeed brave and very intelligent. I have personally witnessed the creature solve complex puzzles that boggle me and it seems to also have a fetish for collecting small gems called Rupees? Whatever that is, this creature sure does love to find them, except for the fact that it will pull up grass and break pots to do so! What's up with that?! Besides this Rune's need for vandalism of another's property for the gems, it is indeed a stout worthy little Rune to which you can place your trust in. Just watch out for pots or planted grass..."

curious, smart and always ready to look for things. He likes to look for things, both to pass the time and to help him. He can be wary at times (mostly of people) but he always adjusts. (might add more)

When I was looking at the dragons who were up for adoption, he just seemed different from the rest, when I read the 'description' on this page I really liked him . He seems like just a Rune that I would like, and I decided to try to adopt him.

Probably, I will say yes just in case.
Any Quirks:
He likes to put things in a small pile on the ground, before moving each object to a different place, sometimes he will even make the pile larger, until you don't have to go looking for one to spot it. Another thing he will do is walk to a certain place on the ground, many times it is a place where an object is, or has been, and will either pick up the item (if it is still there,) or search around the spot if it isn't. If he finds the item then sometimes he will leave it on the ground near you, or he will hide it somewhere, always going back for it later. Pretty much he seems to have a knack for finding things, who knows what he can find sometimes.
Other:
Ferrain walked quietly toward a small gem lying behind a tree. He picked it up and hid it with the others he had found, keeping them there so he could get them when he was done. He turned around again, ready to find more when a human crossed his path. "Hello" it said, he quickly walked away, not saying anything. Later the same person was walking across the small clearing he was in, why did it keep coming back? Well this is only the second time he thought, walking towards another tree. Near the end of the day, the human returned with some food (what do they eat?) "Here" it said, putting it down a ways away. A trap? He wondered, but no probably not. Eventually he wandered over, staying ever wary of the person nearby. Soon he was no longer hungry, he hadn't realized until he ate that he had been. Then the fairy that traveled with him came out from the bush where he'd put the pile of gems and began to talk.

In the mornings when he wakes up he likes to swig his sword around on pots and in tall grass so every time you have tall grass he likes to go into it and chop it down looking for gems.IIt's an easy way not to mow your yard but he also loves to play video games and can easyly beat them in a day or two. So you have to get new ones for him to beat. But he doesn't spend much time on ones his beaten and if there isn't anymore to beat he'll want you to put some flower pots up so he can go slash them to peices with his sword.
Other:
One day I was on my way home playing my zelda game on my ds when I heard a nosie in some long grass beside my house. I put my ds away and go to take a look. When I get there I see a little green rune with a green hat, a small sword, and a little fairy. It slashes some grass done then looks at me. Me and the Rune say at eachother for a while before I move my arm cause its asleep and my ds drops it opens and unpauses by itself. The rune comes over to my ds and starts to play it. I watch as it beats a boos that I couldn't beat then push the ds to me. I pick it up and put it n my pocket while helping the little rune onto my shoulder. I walk home with the little rune that I call Link it seemed to like the name. When I got inside Spade and Grass come out to see what i have and see another rune. Link wen tover to them and they soon became friends the next thing I know there show Link everything abou tmy house and showing him were I keep all the video games. Link starts to play them and in no time has the high score.

When duty calls for Link to save princess Zelda, he is always ready, unless if he has to fiddle with his sword, of course. He will be the one who comes at the time of crisis, wether your a princess, godess, knight, or villager, he is the one who helps. He likes to assist people in any ways, herding goats, grabbing baby baskets from monkeys, and so forth. He is usually silent, though, as he wanders through trecherous lands with his companion fairy. The fairy, on the other hand, seems to talk for link. Link does make occasional grunts or shrill war cries, but he is generally a silent lad. Link is very bold and coragous, not even taking a second glance when facing down The Imprisioned. He will fight with honor and fierce skill, not seen by one his age. He likes to explore and discover new things, especially collecting rupees. Link also plays the ocarina when summoning a tracking hawk, or even a mare, Epona. He plays the ocarina with skill, as well as ease. He is a wise little rune for battle techniques and strategies, even when he looks like he has no idea. Link is actually a sociable guy, making many friends throughout his quests. Like Midna, for instance. Link is also a very loyal person, never deceiving the ones he loves..erm..likes He will do anything to save them, even if it means putting his life in danger. Link is usually misjudged by his age, but once people know him, they regard him in renewed awe.
Why do you wish to have him/her:
He is Link, of course! I love the tri-force marking on his left wing, bringing an ancient taste to this guy. His sword is adorable! The sword looks similar to the sword in Legend of Zelda: The Skyward Sword (which is a FANTASTIC game^^) I like the whole game series of Legend of Zelda, so this was a big surprise. Hehe... His cute little green cap, markings, and the blue fairy drew me to him! His little green coloring reminds me of the neat tunic Link wears throughout the game. The gold resembles his blond hair, as well as the gold tri-force symbol. And, last but not least, his little sword! The sword is a cute accessory you put onto him, making him a true Hero!

I will keep him in my signature, hopefully make an avatar of him, and I to my character thread.^^

Any Quirks:
Link loves to play the ocarina! He will usually spend his free time practicing some tunes, while discovering new ones. He has honed this talent to his best, but can make it even better. Link prefers to practice rather than preform, due to his shy nature. He will do an occasional song or two, just to please the villagers. Although, he also has recently obtained a harp, which he uses with care. The harp is usually played with respect, as Princess Zelda has given it to him. He likes to play the Ballad of The Goddess on the harp. Link does not like all the heavy weight it brings, but he gets used to it. Link also uses the sword! He has perfect aim as well as use of the sword. He swings, cuts, slashes, and stabs items to victory. Link does regret and feel guilty about some, but he sucks it up and continues his journey in peace. Link does like to herd goats when the farmer asks him to. He will generally have a blast with the goats. Unless, of course, the goats misbehave. Link has some consideration upon going with the villagers, but he does like to show off. His final talent is to show off. He is an arrogant person, which adds to his showing off. Link tends to stand in the middle of the villages, demonstrating fighting stances, goat herding, harp playing, or ocarina tunes. As he is a musician, he will often encounter a special ability that no other rune has: to transform. Yes, Link has a tri-force marking present on his wing. It will usually glow when something extraordinary happens. By then, Link will transform into a wolf-like version of himself, with the marking on his brow. Link doesn't talk about it, because the villagers fear monstrous beats like that.
Other:
"PARRAH!" shouted a shrill war cry, as the rune Soared into the sky. The rune, Link, carried his sword in his right wing, putting it skyward. The hilt and blade glistened from the sunlight, and he continued the shrill cries of war, as he slashed his blade deep into a tree, sending it toppling. The rune ended his chant, smiling with sweat rolling down his face. It had worked. Ahead of him, many rows of logs lined up against Faron Woods, creating a barrier-like appearance. The rune made a small grunt of satisfaction, happy to see his achievement. Link felt some breeze shift, and he blew a small flurry of flames. A long snout reached down, gingerly no Ming on the end of his hat. He snorted, pulling his hat away from the mare. Epona had done it again. The mare snorted in response, lifting her roan head up high, her silvery mane shimmering. Link giggled a bit, seeing the friendly horse smile. He then saw his obnoxious fairy flutter around. He knew that his friend would be near by.

Link's friend, an elven boy, rushed up to Epona, and stroked her muzzle. The boy, the original Link, panted, sweat making its way down his forehead. His once green tunic had droplets of sweat near the chest, forming a V-shape. The elf looked around, before he found the little rune on the grassy ground with a smile. The little Link smiled back, sheathing his sword, fluttering up to Link's shoulder. He then sat on the elf's right shoulder, nuzzling his cheek. They both wore the same thing, but the elf Link had boots, a shield, mail armor underneath his tunic, a bigger sword, as well as a bigger hat. He had a creamy skin tone, Leif Inge on his ears, as well as azul eyes. The elf closed his eyes, erupting in small chuckles. Link the elf then mouted Epona, and with a gallop; the two Links were off.

They galloped through the forest, jumping over small hedges and stumps. After a rough twenty minutes, they had made it to the Hyrulian kingdom. Now, at this point, all three of the travelers were sweating. Epona was walked to the bazaar after Link and the rune came through the tall gates of Hyrule. The little rune gawker at all the items they had; shields, potions, bags, swords, and to top that off, they had masks! Little link goaded over at a customer, apparently purchasing a sword. The man handed small gems to the clerk, in exchange for the metal bladed, leather hilted sword. The rune counted a bit, realizing the man paid thirty rupees for the sword! exspensive.. he thought, before flying to Link, who was leaving the bazaar empty handed.

The two waved to Epona, before they rushed up the narrow streets to the Hyrulian castle. People scooted out of the way, whispered, and even waved at Link and the little rune, happy to see their heroes. Now, only Link the elven boy was the hero, while the rune was his companion, just like his fairy. Link looked around, and blushed a tad bit, seeing the onlookers "aw.." Wipping his face with a hand, he trudged on, focusing only on the castle in the distance. Link the rune chirped once, and flew up over head, challenging his friend to a race. The boy looked up to the rune, and grinned, nodding in approval. And with a shrill war cry, they were off.

Link the elf took the streets, running, jumping, dodging, and sprinting his way to the castle. On the other hand, link the rune took to the skies; flying over head with ease. After a rough, bustling ten minutes, the two made it to the castle at the same time! The rune looked at Link as he landed, his face contorted in confusion. Link chuckled softly, knowing that it was a fair tie. "Hm.." the elf answered, shrugging. Link adjusted his sword, before he knocked on the heavy, iron door. His fist made a soft clang, and he stopped, waiting. The door opened with a smooth moan, before an elven girl stepped out, her blue eyes, and blonde hair radiating against the grey iron door. She smiled, rusing out in a white dress, hugging Link. "Oh Link! You're here!" she said happily. Link returned the hug in a dismantled grunt, blushing. He soon pointed down to his companion, in a welcoming gesture.

The princess's face revealed slight confusion. "Oh..there are two of you..Very well. Come on Link, and little Link," she smiled softly at the rune, "We have dinner to attend to." Princess Zelda opened the door to its full length, before she closed it behind the two. Zelda clapped her hands, looking at the food with awe. She jogged, sitting at the head of the lengthy table. Link sat beside her, as little link sat to the princess's left. Zelda smiled, before saying, "Dig in," with a plead. She then began to eat the beautiful food on her plate, the boys following suite. Many "mn's" "o's" as well as "hmm!" escaped the trio as they ate, the dinner warm and tender against their mouths. Zelda's father was there, grinning at the two teens, as well as the little rune. The aura in the air was warm and comforting, making it seem like a special holiday.

Link is very silent, you'll only find him nodding yes or no to your questions or just listening to what you say without any comments. He of course grunts and groans while swinging his sword or doing other things but other than that it is very very very rare to here him actually speak. Another thing is her's very adventures as well as brave. He goes on these quests to defeated the darkness in an area and save this princess. Its somthing he absolutly loves to do as he gets to meet new people and also solve puzzels that most people rune and human can't do. He mets all kinds of scary beings so you have to be brave or else link here wouldn't stand a chance at all. Link is also helpful and loyal to his friends. He helps them anyway he can from say hearding cattle into a barn for the night to saving them from an ugly troll on a boar or something along those lines. Lastly is his feelings towards his little faerie friend. Link can't stand the little being. It never shuts up only shouts out to him "HEY LISTEN! HEY LISTEN!" What is there to listen to or see. It annoys the heck out of link but even so he doesn't have the heart to take his sword and end the little faerie.
Why do you wish to have him/her:
What drew me to this Rune is the fact that you based him off of Link from the Legend of Zelda series. I love link he's an amazing character and i find it funny how he never ever talks. Though i actually have caught him talking in The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker. Though i have never played that game i came accross a YouTube vedio and noticed it. I have played The Legend of Zelda Twilight princess which is my favorite one and then The Legend of Zelda Skyward sword which i am no where nere completing. Anyway when seeing this design and then seeing how i loved link i decided to try out for this pretty. I'm only trying out for runes i like very much and so i hope to get him ^^.
Where will you keep him/her:
I'd keep link here maybe in my siggy i do that alot with my loved character and i do like this design alot. I of course would put him up in my character page, never have a character that isn't in there. I might also put him up in DA, well any pictures i make of him will go there. I wouldn't think of putting his ref up since it isn't my art to post up.

Hmm if i find the right mate for him, but i'm very picky with mates as i don't get fond over designs very easily. But if i do find him the perfect suitable mate then yes i might. If there was a Zelda rune then yes defienently that be awesome!
Any Quirks:
A couple of quirks for this little guy is that for one thing he'll take a pot and just smash it as he's looking for rupees. I find it a little funny cause its then that the lady with a broom comes around to wack him. (that's not in the games just making it a little different) Another is he'll take his sword and start thacking at tall grass looking for the same thing, rupees and hearts. And lastly something none related to the games is you rub his temple lightly he'll emit purring sounds that'll melt your heart.
Other:
