"The Story of the Rune With Black Stripes"

Since our trip to the African Plains I have discovered so many different runes! Unfortunately my sister is very busy with the agency back home so she could not make it this time around. Therefor, I have decided to research in her stead and find yet another amazing rune that I can show her when we get back home. Already I have documented the Wild African Rune and it's canine ways but another stunning sight caught my eyes as a group of runes flew together in a herd. Their stripes encompass them fully and it is difficult to say if they are white with black stripes or black with white stripes. They are indeed however, very social creatures and had no problem with me walking among them, as they flew about in a dazzle of blacks and whites. I found myself becoming quite disoriented though from their constant movement and noticed how difficult it was to pinpoint one rune from another. It seems that when they are in a group they are able to confuse any predator who wishes them harm, but alone one may stand out like a sore thumb.They do however, come across as stubborn and a bit hardheaded when trying to interact with them and their personalities are as varied as the many stripes that line their feathers. Quite the intriguing rune indeed ,and with such deep blue eyes, it is easy to get lost in this magical place filled with culture and exotic runes.

I wipe the sweat off of my forehead, this adventure had gone anything but good. When i arrived here on the plane, i was swarmed with bugs and i have a few bug bites to remember them by. Second off, i had the pleasure to look appetizing to a lioness and chased me half way through the plains until she found me uninteresting. Now i am here, breathing heavily as i write this journal entry in the safety of a tree branch. Don't cats climb though? I seriously hope not, but i don remember those documentaries where the lion is hanging around in the tree. So with that thought, i will be leaving the so called "safety" and head for something else.

With a backpack on my back and a 20 dollar safari hat on my head, i venture out to the plains. I am accompanied by my close friend Buziba, who has lived here for the past five years. He is in front of me, walking a good five paces before me while i lag behind. The heat of the plains is getting to me and i feel like i am being stalked. I look around, just to make sure nothing is going to jump out and eat me for a morning snack. The grass i am walking in is tall and golden, perfect for a lion or two to attack us. But Buziba keeps walking forward, not a care in the world. I follow his steps through the grass, knowing where he was and is going by the flattened grass. As we get out of the grass, a giant shadow engulfs us. At first, i believe it to be a cloud but Buziba points up to the air with an excited call. I look quickly, a giant dragon is above us, seeming to be somewhat deformed though. He explains to me that it is not one, but many. As i look closer, a see what he was talking about. Several of the dragons are flying together, I can see all of their eyes as they move further away from us. I gasp in amazement as one breaks off and flys to me. It swoops down and i believe its going to land on my shoulder, or say hello or something. But no. The little bugger swoops in and takes my 20 dollar hat away from me. While Buzabi laughs hysterically, i am forced to chase the little thief by myself who thought it would be funny and land and run around like a fox, dodging this way and that. Only when i tire does it come back and hand me over my hat, which is dusty and the seams are broken. It gives me a happy smile and i copy it and give it a smug one back. The flock seemed to disappear as i look up and they aren't in sight. Great, guess the little thief is stuck with me!

Zebras are amazing animals. I love the pattern of this dragon and I have always dreamed about going to Africa to see the zebras, but my mother wanna go to Denmark like we have done six times already... So it would be really cool if I ever won this dragon!
Where will you keep him/her:
I would keep it in my signature. Just need to clear some space and we are ready to go :p

I think I would, but I wanna look if I can find another dragon who could suit this one.

Zai keeps sleeping on hes back. It almost look like hes dead when hes sleeping!
Other:
Zai was actually born in a herd of zebras, but was always picked on because he was different. He had the pattern, but not the shape. Also the others got mad at him when he flew away from danger and the normal zebras had to run. In the end they kicked him out of the herd and let him survive on hes own, but it has never bothered Zai's bright personality. He has completely forgotten about them now and lives happily with the mountain zebras, where he has learned to eat plants, grass and weed.
