Dawn of the final day <3

Thank you all for nearly 1,000 posts of wishing on the stars (or not hahaha) I hope it was a mildly entertaining time~

The crowd starts to gather on the hillside at dusk to watch the sunset, different ways of staying warm popping up around the area. From campfires and blankets to full tents and snowsuits, though some were romping in the snow, uncaring of the cold!

When the top of the sun crests the horizon, and the stars are already starting to twinkle, the crowd begins to point out a peculiar shape in the sky. Mummering and excitement swells as the light gets brighter, closer almost?

what could it be?? A Star? No, why would it be getting bigger??

The crowd gets a bit restless, confused murmering and theories spreading around, but the light doesn't seem imminently a problem, so everyone goes back to the shooting stars.

You can see Eyes joining the star-goers tonight with a shadowed friend accompanying him.

Those close moving shooting stars are back! And they seem to have a curve to them...?

Okay those stars are WAAYY too close and weird to be stars, but they don't seem to be fully in view yet?
*squint*

OH GOSH??? With a sudden blue-white FLASH! there's a couple craters in the ground with... chicoons in them? They're a bit covered in dust right now, so you can't make out their markings and they seem a bit unsteady and confused...

More and more chicoons fall from the sky, sometimes those who are looking up enjoying the lights are able to track the falling of one and rush to help, others are looking around and happen to be nearby to steady a newly-arrived friend.

As you all return for the final night of stagazing, you notice the meteors are coming down slower and slower, until no more chicoons appear with the falling debris. It seems the meteor cloud has mvoed past the planet finally!

You make one final wish...
