"CANDY!!!" my mom screamed. "What?!" I yelled in confusion. "Did you eat all the candy canes I bought the cookies and donuts that we're supposed to make for Christmas?! "Umm no the dog did! I mean the dog always- I get cut off by my mom "You know darn well that we DON'T have a dog! ANND you know I can always know when you're lying and if I don't I WILL find out!" "Alright I did, but does even matter, I mean we can't just wait it's disrespectful for food, any food to just wait and let it sit there!" I protested. "Candy, food don't have any feelings they're just meant to- I cut of my mom "Yeah to be EATEN not to ROT!" "UGH!! Look you're having a punishment young man, you are NOT having anything candy cane or candy cane like til next YEAR!" My mom said. "NOOOOOOOO!" I scream because it's the end of the world for me.
NEXT YEAR....

Each year ivan spends christmas with his best friend. His cat!
He treats his small friend like family and would do anything for
the little guy on the hollidays. The two always spend christmas
together. Ivan normally gets his bud a cat toy while he normally
gets a small rodent back in proper cat fashion. His cat happens
to be a type of siamese that has dark fur which he has affectionately
named rubin.

Alphie slowly pressed herself against the snow-in-a-can painted glass,
grinning as she laid her eyes on the one of the only presents she wanted.
In front of her young eyes, lay an assortment of stuffed dogs, their stitched
smiles beamed at the young kids crowding around and the lights used to
decorate the display shined off of their glass eyes. It wasn't exactly what
she wanted. She didn't want a small plaything she'd get bored of in a week.
What she really wanted was a real life dog. One she could play with when her
were too busy or not there. One she could secretly sneak leftovers to at dinner.
Alphie sighed as she remembered the conversation with her parents about how
"we can't afford a dog, they're very expensive." or about how "you would forget
about it in a week!" After a longing look back at the display, Alphie began walking
home, dragging her snow boots in the powder of freshly fallen snow.

Her mind fizzed with excitement as she was awakened by her alarm clock.
"It's Christmas! It's Chistmas! Santa left presents!" she bounced on the couch.
As her parents emerged from the master bedroom, she scrambled over to the
presents, grabbing each one with her name on it, hoping one might be a puppy.
