i also named her after one of my irish cousins however she
rarely goes by this name and instead goes by soda. for the

soda's favorite element is sodium; it is for a start the reasoning for her nickname and it 'relates' to her a best any personified object can. for example soda does not see herself as anything 'special' and sodium is in fact the 6th most abundant element on earth. sodium is also unstable much like her own confidence.
it is also a very interesting substance in both chemistry and biology, it being very unstable gives it a wow factor in sodas eyes. even as a kid she was tricked into a soda being made entirely out of sodium [hence the nickname.] - 100 words

why is that element special to this kiamara;;

Meteor finds sulfur to be a very interesting element, he also pronounces it as sulphur not sulfur. Let's see, one of the things he likes about sulfur is that it melts from a yellow solid into a blood-red liquid.
He also loves how sulfur is found in meteorites as well as many minerals or hot springs. In fact he wrote down three of his most favorite facts about this element.
~ Pure sulfur has no smell.
~ Brimstone is an ancient name for sulfur that means "burning stone".
~ Sulfur is the sixth most common element in seawater.

Most younger girls wanted to be a Disney Princess, but Akarui wanted to be Superman, with the blue suit, red cape and logo everyone knows and recognizes. When she was five years old, Aka started to collect superman merchandise and named her budgie Clark after the DC character. Each year for Halloween she dresses up as Superman, and uses the element to light up her costumes and attract the crowd without being too blinding. She feels that, if she uses the Krypton to make her costumes the best they can be, she pleases Superman and all of his fans, too.

Francium is Volkan's obsession. Volkan is a master chemist with a fascination in exosives, and with his PHD, he makes the world's most wonderful fireworks. However, as brilliant as he is, he cannot figure out how to show the world Francium's amazing power. The element is extremely hard to produce, and even if Volkan manages to create some, it is so explosive and has such a fast half life, it just explodes before he manages to experiment on it. His goal is to one day discover a stable form of Francium and make fireworks with it.

Karita is no nonsense girl, and everything she likes has many uses. When she discovered tungsten, she was looking for a cool metal to experiment with. Many metals were shiny, but not conductive or strong but not shiny. Then she found tungsten, an element that reminds Karita of herself. Strong, shiny, and conductive, with the highest melting point of the metallic elements. Tungsten evokes a sense of pride and independence in Karita, and that is very important for her.
