~Esmeralda's favourite thing to do is read about astrology, and look at stars from her window as she hates going outside~
Em ran through her rooms panic written across her face. She lifted up tables and seats, looked in the fridge all the cupboards, under the beds, and in the fishbowl. After what seemed like hours (In what was actually 10 minutes), Em plopped down on the couch exhausted and out of breath. She looked down at the books in front of her, her favourite ones, about the stars. She lifted one up and opened it to the first page, the words quickly blurred before her eyes as she tried to read.
"Arrrgg! It's useless!" She screamed out. "I'll never be able to read again!" She said almost bursting into tears. "But then how would i know about the stars?!" She panicked jumping up and pacing around the couch in circles.
"Then i might have to.... GO OUTSIDE!" Em screamed in horror at the thought. Em hated germs! More than anything in the world, and the outside was a zoo of viruses and germs. "I'm going to DIE!" She sighed dramatically falling backwards onto the couch, an arm over her face.
"Umm Em?" A squeaking voice called out from above her head. Em shifted her arm a smidge and raised her eyebrows.
"What? Can't you just leave me here to die?!" She cried, flipping over onto her stomach and burring her face underneath the pillows.
"Em, if you don't get up now i will eat all the carrots" The voice squeaked threateningly.
"You wouldn't!" Em gasped glaring shocked over her pillow pile.
"I would" The little orange rabbit glared down at her. "And look at your neck you germ freak"
"Why do you want me to look dow... MY GLASSES!!" Em cried out happily almost crying. "I Can read again!!!"
"You're such a drama queen" The rabbit sighed.
"Thankyou Laisha"
"For?" Lai prompted.
"For saving me from ever having to go outside, and letting me read again" Em finished not looking up from her book. "Heyy did you know that Stars don't twinkle? Ooo and the Sun is only an average sized star?" She mumbled going back to reading.
"Your hopeless you know that?" Lai called poking Em.
"Did you say something?" Em called not moving an inch completely engrossed in her reading, a look of happiness over her.
