hello, I'm conquest; c: I used to be Purr, so you may recognize me with this name. I am currently a JBD owner, and my baby girl is Jamie, daughter of Yan Yan and Cheesecake.

I would name this boy Avery. Though it's more popularly used as a female, it is also a male's name. I actually named him after my 5 year old cousin, who adores Christmas cookies and comes over every year for Christmas. We don't live near them, so it's a real treat when they come over!
I looked up the meaning of the masculine name Avery, and it actually means "elf, or magical counsil". Perfect for a Christmas-themed bean!

It felt as if it were going to be another lonely Christmas for me. Snow had slowly started falling around me in large fluffy clumps. I shiver and breathe out on my front paws, trying to keep myself warm.
Besides, who would even give a jellybean dragon such as me a second glance? I’ve been wandering the streets so long my fur is now clumped in parts and a fine layer of dirt tainted my fur.
As I gazed at the people as well as other jellybean dragons rush around to get home to their families for the holidays I failed to see one of the humans approach me. The sound of her voice at first scared me, since I was not expecting anyone to approach me at the state I am in. But her soothing voice calmed me. She smiled at me when everyone else would wrinkle their noses and look away. It sent a warm feeling threw out my body.
She then offered me the unthinkable, offered to have me join her and her family for Christmas. I was unsure at first but that smile she gave me melted away my doubts.
She took me to her home which was pretty small with not much furniture but rather tons of books and art tools. Regardless it felt like a home, comfortable and safe. For the first time in months I was able to bathe, she helped me smooth out the clumps in my fur though some had to be sniped off due to how badly tangled the fur was but it didn’t matter, it just felt good to be clean.
I was later on able to meet her family which consisted of a group of cat like creatures that also seemed like dragons but with horns and wings. They were nice to me and I was able to befriend three of them, though the other four were pretty quiet and kept to themselves.
The human who took me in then offered me these strange tree shaped cookies, they were small and white with red and green spots but the bottoms were dark brown.
One of the horned dragons mumbled to me that the human forgot to take the cookies out when the timer rang so the cookies might be a bit burnt at the bottom. Regardless I chomped away at the cookies. I never tasted anything so amazing! I guess it’s from the lack of food out in the streets that even half burnt cookies tasted heavenly.
While I was eating away the human smiled again at me and asked me. “Do you have a name?”
I paused and looked down at the cookies, a name…I never was given a name. No one really cared enough to give one to me so I shook my head.
The human gave a strange look and then told me. “No? But everyone needs a name…”
Then with a large smile the human told me. “I know! I’ll give you a name and if you want you can stay here with me, of course you are welcome to leave whenever you want but if you ever want to stay you’re allowed.”
The human just looked at me face and to my surprise used her hand to brush crumbs off the fur around my mouth. “Hmm…how about I call you Crumbs? Oh and so people know you have a home…”
She tied a bell around my tail.
I smiled brightly and nodded, not only did I now have a home but also a name. It was truly the best Christmas ever.

It was a stormy winternight as Rèn walked out in the Night. He couldn't even see his Tail infront of his eyes and fell down. He's been running around for hours but he couldn't find the others. After about 30 Minutes later the snowstorm get down. He didn't know where he was but ther was a Big wnderfull Christmastree infront of him. Many animals where there and Nuts, berries and other delicious stuff. There also was a Big Man with a long white beard. He's been giving all tohse delicious stuff to the animals. as he saw the nearly Frozen Rèn he gave him a Hot cholocate and a Blanket. That is the thing he remembers the Most. He still sleeps with this Blanket.

Male

Coal sat in front of the fire, its orange glow radiating upon his prominent features. His grandmother's house was one of the coziest places he knew, besides his own home. He'd traveled a long way to get here for Christmas, and it was finally time to rest. A smile spread across his snout as the wood shifted, causing the fire to crackle and spray out a shower of ochre-colored embers. The sparks floated harmlessly to the bottom of the stone fireplace where they slowly faded. Coal wiggled his toes as the warmth from the flames spread over him, like the softest blanket from his bed so far away. Every fur tingled as the warmth seeped down Coal's back, sending tiny shivers down his spine. He edged closer to the silvery stones of the fireplace, craving the heat it gave off. This was the warmest and most comfortable Coal had ever been. He slowly drifted off to sleep, dreaming of the presents he would unwrap the next morning.
But suddenly, a sharp, unpleasant smell disturbed his slumber. It was mixed with the scent of grandma's holiday sugar cookies, yet was ever so displeasing to the nose. Alarmed shouts came from all over the house, mostly from the adults of the family. The younger ones just groaned or laughed wholeheartedly, for this happened every year.
"Looks like Grandma's burned the cookies again!" Came a shout from upstairs.
"I bet they're solid as a rock!" came another from the kitchen. Coal just rolled his eyes and smiled, enjoying his peaceful time alone in the living room.
The bean's ears pricked as he heard the creaking of the stove opening from the kitchen, and the sound of the cookie tray being slid out from it. There was some clanking as plates were taken out, and some more clanking which was what Coal guessed was the cookies being plopped on the platters.
"The cookies are ready!" his mother's voice rang out, sweet yet loud and stern. All family members from their locations all about the house started to migrate towards the living room. Coal nodded or gave a quiet "hello" to each one as they came in. Most of his cousins sat on the floor with him, while the aunts and uncles reclined on the sofas or armchairs.
Coal's grandmother came in from the kitchen, serving everyone a small plate of cookies. Coal observed some from his cousin's plate. They were burnt around the edges, and where they weren't burnt, they seemed to be rock solid. Cracking sounds could be heard from all around the room as everyone bit in, or at least attempted to. Grandma seemed to have missed Coal when handing out the cookies, but he didn't really mind.
"Oh, Coal, you don't have any!" said his aunt from the sofa behind him. "Here, catch this one." She held up the cookie, and Coal spread his paws apart, ready to snare it. The pastry sailed through the air, and Coal moved his left paw to grasp it. Unfortunately, though, it bounced off Coal's paw and landed straight into the fire. The whole family watched in horror as the flames swallowed up the charred shape. Coal then turned to his family with a wide smile on his face. "That's okay, it was burnt anyways!" The terrified looks on the family's face instantly melted into joy and amusement, and soon the room was filled with uproarious laughter. Coal laughed and giggled along with them, glad to be in their company that Christmas Eve, even if the cookies were burnt.

We'll my favourite memory doesn't seem the best but I love it all the same.

Sniffing the air sleepily I rose a dopey smile covering my face. I wasn't sure what exactly I was sniffing but it smelt yummy! Jumping up from my bed I crept towards the door pushing it open a smidge with my paw. My parents were no where to be seen. I snuck out and scampered down the hallway hiding behind the corners of doorways before continuing on my path. Suddenly my ninja-ness failed as I slipped on the newly washed floors. "Woah woah eeepp!" I squealed as I skidded towards the Christmas tree, finally my speed decreased as I crashed into a large present. Shaking my head I trotted towards the kitchen to see my mum cooking, and a large completed tray of cookies behind her. Grandma and grandpa were asleep leaning against the table and the rest of the family absent. Crouching down low I ran into the kitchen grabbing the cookies in my mouth.
"Oh no you don't!" Mum called turning around, knowing I would've done this, chased me out of the room.
"Chhhaaarrrrgggggeeeee!!!" A bunch a squeals echoed as my younger relatives jumped out of nowhere crushing me under a mess of fur.
"The cookie thief shall suffer under pain of.....of.... Losing all the cookies!" My younger sister decided as everyone gobbled down the cookies.
"Nnnoooooooo!!!!!" I cried lifting a paw up, as my family gobbled down the cookies.
Hurriedly everyone left me for 'dead' and scattered off happily.
"Don't feel sad Tach! I saved you one" my littlest cousin passed me a small burnt cookie from the scraps. Her eyes were large and even though the cookie was the runt I gratefully took it and ate it quickly.
"Delicious" I smiled, the cookie wasn't the best but I wanted to be kind. She smiled and jumped up hugging my head before scampering away.

I felt warm and happy inside that day and every time I think of that day I still feel the same.

My name, this is where it all began. On Christmas. Chrispin or a nickname I earned 'crisp' wanna now how I got that name? well it all started today ... not today today but a long time ago on this same day.

" CHRISPIN!'' a familiar voice called as i rolled around on the floor, not really wanting to get up but well I had too. Dragging myself to the source of the voice I watched Buddy run around frantically until he spotted me, I sat there trying to look as innocent as ever but we all knew i was no where near an innocent boy. " dude I need your help! everyone's going to be over in like twenty minutes!'' he huffed as I lingered around the tree he had set up, but I yelped as he grabbed my tail and drug me away, clinging to the tree and knocking it over he groaned and pointed to the cookie dough on the counter " you finish making those! Now I have to set up the tree thanks Chrispin,'' I couldn't help but duck my head in guilt as he spoke.

Sulking over to the cookies It took a moment to get the dough off my claws but.. well really I just ate it all off and i ended up finishing the circular sugar cookies and putting sprinkles on the dough. Laughing quietly as Bud struggled with the tree " done!'' I piped up as he pushed the tree up ans sighed but his paws were caught in tinsel and lights " WE COOK THEM!'' he said as he wiggled around like a worm.

Sighing I looked at the ivory circles on the silver tray then at Buddy who had gotten out of the lights and silver string but he was having trouble putting it back on, well he was bigger and older than me so I figured he didn't need my help, besides I'm prone to accident ... and eating a lot of sweets.

Shrugging my crown shoulders I plopped down on the floor, wrapping my tail around my foot I looked around " how am I? ohhhhh' I laughed at my own stupidity and cleared my throat. All Jelly Bean Dragons had the ability to fire and this was how I was supposed to cook theses things so before cooking them i scooped one of the twenty four off and ate it, Bud must have noticed because of my loud chewing ... oops,

When I started my fire was small and low so I didn't burn them, every now and again I would stop and check on them until there was a knock at the door that scared me half to death! Jumping slightly I ended up sitting on my tail which lead to my fire growing and then lighting the sweets on fire.

I panicked for a moment as I looked down at the pieces of coal like food then to the door when Buddy had let people in.

Worse part of this whole thing was when I had to bring out the cookies, I sat back in the corner under my blanket, quietly panicking as everyone looked at me " Chrispin? you made these?'' Bon piped up causing me to nod slowly " Crispy Chrispin!'' is your new name Buddy announced and that caught on.

I regret the day I burned the cookies. But i grew to love the nickname "crispy"

wanna know why? I was never trusted with cooking ever again!

But never burn your cookies.

And that's how I got my name.
