Apple is leaving? But... but...
I guess I'll try my hand at her gorgeous last JBD. <333
Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark.~Rabindranath TagoreYour Name?Hello there! I'm JayzPF.
What Would You Call Her?If I were to perhaps win this splendid beauty, I would name her Glory.
Why Is That? Why? Simply because her colors are glorious! She is absolutely perfect, the epitome of wonder and color. My favorite book series is
Wings of Fire by Tui T. Sutherland. It's about different species of dragons, 6 dragonets in particular, a war, a prophecy, and betrayal. The dragonets in the prophecy were supposed to be a SeaWing, a MudWing, a SandWing, a NightWing, and a SkyWing. In the prologue, however, it states that the egg containing the SkyWing was smashed to pieces. In an attempt to replace it before anyone found out a dragon stole a RainWing egg. This RainWing was later known as Glory. Everyone thought that she was a mistake. RainWings also have the ability to change colors at will like a chameleon but much better, which definitely reminded of this stunning JBD.
Male or Female?Indeed she is female.
How Old Might She Be?Glory has 15 years of experience behind her.
Her Sexual Orientation? She is asexual, meaning that she is not really attracted to any gender. There may be an exception over time.
Her Blood Type? She has B Positive blood, meaning she can only receive blood from other crap and Os. She can donate to crap and ABs.

No bird soars too high if he soars with his own wings.~William BlakeHer Persona?Glory is the quiet, uncaring type. She doesn't like to bother other people and expects the same treatment from them. She's cold and unfeeling about anything except birds. Her blank past is an extremely touchy subject, and she is hurt by the loss. Glory maintains a regal posture, however, refusing to give into despair. She has a sort of motherly attitude to avians and will care for them if they seek her assistance.
Please Tell About Her PastGlory was born in New Zealand and raised by a single parent; her mom. The mother was named Trillium, after the beautiful white flower. She was loving and kind to everyone she met, yet when Glory watched her closely she would notice worry lines and a constantly present yet faint frown. She became concerned for her mother but never said anything about it.
Trillium was a brilliant storyteller. Often times during the cold nights she would pull Glory next to her and they would snuggle close in a tree while she told her tales of her father. The young dragon was always intrigued by this gallant and mysterious male, not only because of the stories but also because her mom never explained where he went and who he was. She knew that there was a reason why he wasn't here. The dragon in the stories wouldn't abandon his mate and child.
Their lives went on, however. In the hot summer Trill would bring her daughter to a swimming hole and they would splash around together. During the freezing winters, they played in the fluffy snow. Her mother was the first one to teach her how to identify birds. They spent much of their time doing this, and she was tucking Glory into bed promising an adventure the next day when tragedy struck and everything changed.
Everything I just told you is completely unknown to this Jelly Bean Dragon. Glory was only 7 when she woke up alone and in an unfamiliar environment. No Trillium, no comfy cave, and definitely no idea where she was. The only thing with her was a sleek, steel masquerade bird beak with colorful protruding feathers. Most of her factual knowledge was retained, but the memories of her past were scattered into oblivion.

What Does She Like?☻ B I R D S-Watching Birds-Birdwatching is a major hobby of hers. Glory is completely obsessed with birds. Flight, feathers, ever temperament; she indulges herself in learning as much as she can about them. Rain or shine, most likely you will find her studying some sort of specimen from afar with binoculars.
-Befriending Birds-Of course watching the avian members of the world is spectacular by itself, but why settle for that when you can actually befriend them?
☻ S E C R E C Y-Keeping Your Mouth Shut-Glory respects those who can keep a secret. She believes that those who can't are weak minded.
☻ P R I V A C Y-Just let her be-While she likes watching others, she despises privacy invasion.
☻ S L E E P-Zzzzz-
Nothing like a good nap in the sun.
☻ M A N G O S-Fruit-
Yum! The perfect balance between bitter and sweet.
Dislike?☹ I G N O R A N C E-Stupidity-
Glory despises those who speak opinionatedly without knowledge of the subject.
☹ T E A M S-Cooperation-
She believes that relying on others too much causes weakness and should be avoided.
☹ C R U E L T Y-Unnecessary Abuse-
Those who hurt the weak are despicable.
Her Attitude Towards Life?Glory prefers to maintain a neutral and uncaring atitude. She often feels like emotion gets in the way of things, and tries not to form too much of an opinion on anything except birds.
Horoscopes, perhaps? She is a Chinese Zodiac Tiger and her horoscope is Cancer.
The Quest for Invisibilium Avem
Glory padded across the dense, spongy surface of the forest. The damp leaf litter felt springy and added an extra boost to her discouraged step. A few wispy tendrils of sunlight shot past her, and she glanced furtively over her shoulder to be greeted with the sight of the morning sun peeking out over the treetops. The shadows the tall pines cast caressed her golden body, stripes weaving through the thick fur and glinting across her steel mask. She smiled softly, turned away from the magnificent spectacle, and continued on her search.
"Where are you, little bird?" The dragon murmured in a melodic whisper reserved for avians only. Her keen eyes quickly scanned the branches high above, then returned to scrutinize each leaf. She mustn't lose track of it. She mustn't. Her weeks and months of careful planning would be all wasted if this mission failed. Inhaling the biting cold air, Glory commissioned all of her senses to find some sign of the bird's presence.
Still no bird. She shook her head, chrome blue eyes snapping and blazing with sparks. Mustn't lose hope. Mustn't lose the trail. The slender female moved on from the area, her head swiveling in all directions to make sure she missed no details. The sun gained altitude behind her. It's warmth was a welcome feeling on her back; a nice distraction from the prickling anxiety crawling up her spine.
A nearby disturbance caught her attention and she fixed her intense stare on the bush were it came from, heart fluttering like a hummingbird. Could this be it? A moment of horrible silence and anticipation passed; then an odd, pale green parrot streaked past her and back into the undergrowth. It would have been astonishing to Glory had she not immediately recognized the culprit. "Strigops habroptila," she breathed appreciatively. "Kakapo." The tiny sigh of disappointment that escaped from her maw contrasted heavily with her thrilled expression. The Kakapo was an extremely rare species of parrot. It was flightless yet elusive, nimble yet burly, and although interesting, far from what she was looking for.
The dragon stared in the direction it had left in for a second, cataloged the experience in her mental portfolio, then turned and continued on her quest. She should've known. would definitely be much more difficult to find. Surveying the area with renewed vigor proved useless again, too. Perhaps there was something she was missing... Reliable sources maintained that Invisibilium Avem would be in this area. Where was it?
Glory reached up to scratch at her ear, stumped. A light pressure on her skull suddenly drew her notice and she paused, brows furrowed in puzzlement. What was this? She gently pulled a delicate from atop her head and gaped at it for a second, gaze raking over the small bird over an over again. The Camouflage Bird. An elusive species of bird, closely related to the hummingbird, that is the only one in the avian world capable of changing colors at will. Not only that, but it was also able to create a bioluminescent glow. Glory had doubted ever finding it, but here it was. As she watched, the tiny male released a pleased giggle and began to match the color of her fur perfectly. It made him nearly impossible to see and was truly a wonder to behold. The dragon beamed tentatively at him, which seemed to make him happy. The bird burbled a few chirps and beat its wings, rising from her palm to hover in front of her face. She could hardly dare to breathe. It moved so close that the miniature wind it's wings conjured brushed her face and slipped into the mask's cracks. Glory leaned into examine his intricate yellow feathers and blinked to clear her unsteady gaze. When she opened her eyes, he was gone. She whirled around in a frantic search for Avem, shining eyes bright with excitement. It was no use. No matter how hard she stared at trees, it never came into sight again. She knew that there was a reason they were so incredibly hard to find, but deep down she refused to believe it. He was just beyond this branch, wasn't he? He wasn't.
It was high noon when she stopped. Glory let her breath whoosh out from her lungs and sighed heavily, moving to sit under a massive cedar. "You'll never see one again." She told herself miserably. Yet there was a light undertone to her voice. Even though she had just witnessed the rarest bird in the world, she felt content just to know that such a bird had shown interest in her.
