A SHORT STORY ABOUT HIS FAVORITE THING TO DO:
Snowboarding. This is my favorite thing to do -besides chasing my friends around-. 'How does a JellyBeanDragon snowboard?' you may ask , well I will tell you . One morning I crawled out of my den I had made myself on the side of a mountain were I could get plenty of snow for most of the year, because I do not like hot weather all that much. As I stepped out of my den I was hit with a large 'wave' of snow . I knew there were humans on this mountain , and I am a smaller than average Jelly Bean, so I thought I could make my self a nice cozy den. Then winter came , I loved the snow and it was very refreshing for me , but human species seem to love to come up the mountain in winter . I had no idea why , until I stepped out of my den and was hit with snow . I popped my head out the snow , shaking the snow out of my ears. I saw the human that had just sent the wave of snow onto me , speeding down the hill. He left a trail of oh powder-ish, pure and clean snow trailing behind him. He went over a ramp that let him fly into the air. He spun around doing a 360 . When he landed he kept sending snow behind him .
I was curious on how the human did that . I waited a few hours until another boarder came down the same slop the first did . This snowboarder was a female this time. She fell off her board as she tried to make the ramp. Her feet came out of the bindings on her board and the board started to slide down the hill. I ran after the board hoping the girl wouldn't notice me as I ran past her. I grabbed the board , gripping the board with my teeth. I drug the board into the shadows of the trees , then into my den.
Waiting till late after noon when the humans left the mountains, I had already removed the bindings on the board and had practiced gripping the board with my claws so I got a good grip an thought I couldn't fall off. Dragging the board out into the snow , I gripped the board like I had practiced and kicked off with my back foot. I went pretty fast , the cold air felt good on my fur and face. I turned letting the board kick up snow like a wave. I fell off about 15 times that night but it was pure joy ridding on the board. The next moring I woke up feeling sore but very pleased snow boarding had been one of the best things in my life . I had practiced every day until I could ride with out falling off and was able to one day finally do the 360 the a 720.-----Marco
