dream/nightmare/etc: He has a recurring dream about swimming in pudding. It's always vanilla pudding, and it's always the more liquid-y kind than the solid kind, such as the pudding in pudding cups. It's in a very large pool, always outside (on some sort of deck or something), and, try as he might, he is never able to reach the edges of the pool to climb out. He's always stuck right in the middle. It started out as a really great dream, the kind of fantasy you can only live out while asleep, but it has occasionally become a nightmare, where the goopy treat roiled and rolled like the waves of the sea during a bad storm. He's not yet sure exactly what message the dream is trying to send him, if there is any message to be found, but he'll figure it out eventually... maybe... Ah, maybe not. It's a dream about pudding, for god's sake. Other than this dream, he never really dreams; what other few dreams he does have are always quickly forgotten. This is the only one that he remembers, and it just so happens to come back, and come back, and come back. He has this dream at least once a week, usually two to four times.

The ghostly white trees swayed, shedding leaves of emerald. One of them got entangled into the tuft of fur on my tail. I shook it free, and it bursted-like a firework-into a cluster of butterflies. Laughter escaped my muzzle.
As I was frolicking, I spotted a figure in the distance. I looked closer to see the light warp dizzingly. It was another JBD. And she was... beautiful. I couldn't pull my eyes off her.
"Hello? What's your name?" I called to the girl. She giggled instead of saying hello. Just as fast as she had come she climbed higher into the network of branches.
I ran after her and latched onto the tree trunk with my claws. I climbed, and climbed. I'd see a flicker of her tail poking out of some leaves, maybe a glance of her paw, a flicker of her eyes. This all sent my heart racing, and at some point, it almost stopped.
"Wait! What's your name?" I called desperately. I needed to put a name to this beautiful face. All I got was a laugh and a glimpse of her cream eyes. Oh, her eyes... They reminded me of the most fantastic delicacies. She stopped for a moment and I was able to see that her fur was pink. And she had those cute, floppy ears. I've always liked floppy ears. I wanted to touch her fur, feel the silky texture beneath my paws, gaze at her forever...
But, sadly, she disappeared again. "Wait..." I pleaded, quickening my pace up the branches. She must have been faster and lighter than me to be climbing this fast. Then again, I was not known to be the fastest. We were finally, finally reaching the top after several hours. I remembered thinking about how the trees were real far apart. I guessed she couldn't jump. The branches were growing thinner, and I knew she would be trapped.
After awhile I realized I was not growing tired. Was I dreaming? Maybe so. The girl climbed to the skinniest, most fragile branch I'd ever seen and balanced there, taunting me. I could see her entirely now. She was so beautiful I couldn't put it to words.
"What's your name?" I asked one last time.
"Shinee!"

This little girl's name is Alizarin. Pronounced Al-izz-ar-in. She is named after the red dye Alizarin. Her nicknames are Ali or Aliza.

The air was filled with pretty music,Lanterns lighting up the night sky, dragons weaving around the celebrations. Opened red envelopes fluttering through the air. “This is the life!” Ali thought as she danced with her friends through the streets of Shangai being lit up by the lanterns glow that were hanging overhead. The warm feel of the red colours of China surrounding them as they started twirling around in the decorations as they partied right through the night. Watching the amazing fireworks that were covering China in a blanket of joy and laughter on the night of the Chinese new year.



Soon Ali woke up as the magic of the celebrations faded. How she wished she could be back in Shanghai, celebrating the new year with her friends and family.



When Ali was celebrating all of her worries went away and she could only concentrate on the fun she was having with her community . Chinese new year brings hope and faith to Ali. A night that she can use to forget all of her problems in her life. Since moving to England aged 8. Every year on that special night Ali dreamt of her celebrations to bring the peace in to her life again.

I found out that earlier today an earthquake hit a rural place in Sichuan, China so when reading about Ali's dream please take a moment to think about the 200+ people who have lost their lives and the nearly 1000 who are fighting for theirs. thank you.

dream/nightmare/etc: I was curled up in the forest. The tall grass surrounding me. I was about to fall asleep under the moon tree when i heard a loud noise. my eyes flickered open immediately. what happened? I slowly rose, my paws trembling in the moon light. I padded down the hill to find a glowing star glittering, i picked it up my paw trembling. all i remember then was a deep purple creature swoop me up. the next time i opened my eyes, i was lying on a fluffy substance. the surroundings were sky blue. where was i???? i padded around and found a hole. peering down i saw the forest were i live... way way down. It took me a while to realise where i was. I was in the sky. but how?

• dream/nightmare/etc: Leonardo once had a nightmare where a mysterious creature came, unlike anything ever seen before. It was so unusual, there were no words to describe it. Although very odd, it was friendly at heart, and thats where the journey began...Leonardo and 'Og' (as it was called) would travel to all different planets. Not planets like Mars or Jupiter, but ones that no one but Og and Leonardo had ever discovered before. The first planet they ever visited was blue and glowing, filled with beautiful moonberries and silver water. Leonardo knew he couldn't survive here, but tried the food. "Mhmmm!" it tasted delicious. He sighed, and slumped over to Og. "I can't stay here, Og" he said in a meloncholy tone. Og nodded, and a blue flash of blinding light filled the scene. He was back at home, and awake in his bed. What a wonderful dream he thought.

He looked like me, only silver instead of red and between his teeth, he held a rose. I called out to him. A crack ran through the ground. It swallowed me up. I was falling down a bottomless hole. dream/nightmare/etc: Nightmare: I was asleep one night under the moon and I closed my eyes. When I awoke, I was in a dreamland, or a nightmareland to me. The trees were bare and there was no grass to lie in. I walked cautiously towards a bean's shadow, then the shadow flitted away from me and ended up right behind me. I hopped aside it and the black bean appeared. He had red eyes and no pupils. He crept towards me and I backed up, but the bean lunged for me, and that was when I woke up.
