location // She used to live in a swamp in Florida, on a Native American reservation. She lived there for a long, long while and loved it before she was found. She's used to boggy areas as well as mud. There are droughts as well as floods every once and awhile there, and things are always on the move during the day or night. The air is humid and everything flows with the water. Alligators were a regular occurrence there and she made plenty of friends with a few of them along with a few swamp rats, egrets, snakes, and bats. She even tried to get to know the natives a couple of times and they helped her paint her markings. She's also lived close to the waters, because if there was one thing you needed in the swamp it was water. So it was best to live some place along the shore, or even just high in a tree nearby.

She used to live in a rain forest ya thats right she likes the rain because it constantly rains in rainforest. Also in the rain forest there are lots of animals so she had friends there, her favortie place in the rain forest was the waterfall that was always so soothing to her mind when she was always mad or sad she always went there sometimes with friends or family. When she went to the nearby tribe in the rain forest they put markings on her.

Hoverfly

Image
Hover was found dwelling in a wetland-like area in the middle of nowhere. The area was heavily forested; however, the trees that took up this 'forest' were trees that could easily live in water; this was mainly mangroves. The ground itself was... well, there wasn't really any ground. The trees were submerged in about a foot of water; at its deepest it got up to six or seven feet. Tons of wetland plants such as cattails were springing up everywhere they possibly could, and the water below was coated in a layer of algae. I'm glad I'm not the one who gave this girl her first bath when we managed to extract her!

From what we've seen, Hover managed to survive by living mainly at the tops of the trees, only coming down to collect fruits, plants and drink water. By no means did she have an easy life. We did a short biological survey on the area and found signs of many different species- including crocodiles. The places where she appeared to get her water from seemed to be places the beasts frequented often. It's possible that's why she's so fearful and aggressive towards those who get near her. The swamp was also coated with bugs- tens of thousands of them. The little buggers got everywhere in our rescue team's clothes. Luckily they didn't seem to bite her; in fact she didn't seem to mind them at all. Her den up in the treetops was swarming with hoverflies, hence our nickname for her.

Despite the swamp being sort of... unwelcoming, it was oddly beautiful in its own way. There were only a few clouds in the sky, and the sun was reflecting off the green water and bouncing off the dewdrops of the trees and generally coating everything in sight in hundreds of little light rays. The plant life here, as well, whilst a bit chaotic, was incredible. You'd think that in a wetlands there wouldn't be much color- you'd be wrong. It was the time of year where the ice had just completely melted off the surface of the water, and flowers were starting to bloom along the soil collected on the branches of the trees. They were found in every shape and size and color you could possibly imagine, from tiny white little blossoms clustered in patches of hundreds to huge, pink droopy blooms found occasionally around the marsh. The thing that struck me the most about the area, though, was the amount of human interaction with the place- or lack thereof. The only human sounds were our own, and none of the garbage or any of the careless waste our species seems to leave behind was present. After we had successfully found and captured the dragon, and got her into the truck, I was able to take a second, close my eyes, and only listen to the trickle of water and the hum of the insects around me, without any of the irritating voices and man-made beeps that surrounded me almost every other second of my life. It was true peace, if only for a second.

I'm Ink Blots. Tarra has taken
me by surprise and given
me a life yet to
be told, a closed book.
location //

Tarr'a're lived in the fierce, untamed wilderness of Scotland. The weather tends to be temperate, but can change in an instant. The weather of Scotland almost entirely depends on the tides and on the winds. If the tides and the winds are in balance, then the weather will be at peace. Often enough, however, they are not balanced and a never-ending war seems to wage between land and earth. Wandering through the ruins, you can see the emaciated and dead bodies, preserved by ancient bogs and volcanic ash, reminders of a war never won. Animals roam the more peaceable parts of the wilderness, but many of them are monsters lying in wait to see one fall, and then scavenging what is left. Tarra lived alone, creating her own ideas and adapting to the wilderness by studying the animals around her. If she saw a Siberian Tiger, she would note that its stripes helped it blend in, and therefore she would paint stripes on herself as well, and she would know they would help her survive. If she saw an animal's eye's gleam in the dark with unknown sight, she would spend nights training herself to see that way aswell. She knew that if these animals could survive here, then she could do more than survive. The Scottish wilderness was harsh, harsher than our life here, but it was like a mother to her, nurturing her while scolding her for something she does wrong, scolding her while praising her when she does good.

The part of Scotland that Tarra lived in was a rather unwelcoming place. The place was rather boggy, with sulfur at the bottom of the murky watery-mud that made the whole place reek. Despite the stench, Tarra stayed there because it hid her own scent from predators. A stunted tree would grow every ten feet or so, but it wouldn't stay long. Only skeletons and weeping willows that seemed to mourn for their dead accomplices remained, despite for a few weeds. Bugs were abundant in this place, mostly large flies that pollinated the large, purple flowers that grew around the edges of the wet area. Tarra would pick these. They had a particularly alluring smell but if you ate them they would make you very sick. Beauty hides poison in this wilderness. The other part of where she lived, mainly the part where she scavenged, was thick pine forest, where the trees grew twenty feet tall and were ideal for climbing. Tarra found most of her food here. She especially loved the blueberries that grew on giant, black-leaved bushes. Scotland took care of her, and she didn't destroy it in return.

Scotland was Tarra's mum, guiding her fate to some unknown extent of what she did not know. Capture was inevitable, death was even more so. When she lived there, she knew that one day she would be gone, and all that would be left of her are things that never happened. She wanted to make a mark. Scotland pushed her subtly, whispering things to her she did not understand, as it does for anyone who travels there looking for destiny. One could go mad, listening to the wailing of lost spirits, the spirits who are ghosts of people who were never found in their walk of life, people who never found their fate. As an ancient Scottish royal once said, 'Everyone has a fate of their own. Some never find it. Some do. Others are guided.' Scotland gave Tarra a free ride to what she knew she was going to be, and what she knew she always would be. She knew that one day, when she was dead and gone, no one would no her, despite how much she fought. But at one point you have to ask. You have to ask your fate, ask your land, your freedom, your life... and Tarra answered that question with confidence that knew no bounds.
What are you fighting for?

'I am fighting to find home.'

jbd name // Aela {A - lah}
location // Since a young bean, Aela has lived in the tallest mountains of Hungary, away from everybean. She lived on the top of the mountain, where a small cave, about the size of an average living room, with almost a balcony in the front of it. The mountain is very rough, nobody else could climb it. Clouds touch the top of the mountain, and where it snows quite frequently there. Aela had on her 'balcony' was her paint that she covered herself in, {She considers it as war paint} her food, & firewood. Inside, in the back there was a smaller hole in which she's crawl in if she was either cold, or danger was near. She'd have a small dagger in there just in case something started to attack her. Aela had small holes in the cave, which some were used for some storage, some other ones used as 'windows'. She also had a 'fridge' in the back, where she digs holes at and stored food in, where ice was, to keep her food fresh. In the very back there was a hole to crawl out of, where she would use the bathroom at. Oh, and just something for refrence, she lived with a HUGE dragon, the size of three buses beside each other. It wasn't a JBD, but a big scaley dragon. The dragon took care of her like Aela was his daughter.

If you have ever lived in a swamp like Bajkia you would know that they are full of life and magic. The most fertile soil, and the most beautiful flowers live in the swamp. The trees breath and grow strong, all connected. Trees in the swamp connect their roots to stay up, always friends with other trees, no matter species. Thats what it's like living in the swamp, tons of friends, and they are all full life. Thats why Bajkia lived in the swamp.
