"What in the world..."
Velka had been searching for Halki for more than a day now. He never came back home after went to the Pit. But when she arrived at the place where the Pit should be, she did not expect to see that view. There was no more Pit- instead, a bunch of chicoons was hanging out in the area. Also, almost all of the gods were here too.

She discovered Halki at the back of the crowd around some chicoon.
"Halki!" Velka rushed towards Halki and hugged him. "Oh my moon, where have you been!"

Halki answered with a shaking voice. "I... had to go inside of the Pit. Sorry for leaving without a message..." Halki drooped his wings.
"It's alright! You came back safely, and that's much more important." She gave slight pats on his back and pulled away.

She was relieved to find Halki, but she still had one thing that was concerning her mind right now. "By the way... Where did the Pit go?

Halki pointed at the center of the crowd. "Oh, right there. Pit's a chicoon now!"
"Wait- What?" Velka responded in a confusion.
"I was going to talk to Pit! Would you like to have chat with him?"
Velka nodded, and she followed Halki into the crowd.

Velka expressed her warm gratitude to Pit."I've heard a lot about you from Halki. Thank you for liking my drawings! Looks like he has something to say to you. Thank you again for being his new friend."
She stepped back, so Halki could speak.

With joy, Halki spoke to Pit. "Pit!! I almost thought that you were gone forever! I have so, SO many questions... but I don't want to overwhelm you, so I'll leave those for the next time. I wish you the best in everything in your new life!"
Halki sniffled as he offered a hug to Pit.

"Thank you," he smiles. "I will be sure to remember these enjoyable times when I wear them. I am so thankful that you have been my friend all this time."

Pit stares down at the rock Tangerine gave him after the emotional chicoon runs off. He smiles, traces his thumb over the spiral, and then crouches down to show it to Brea and Mariana. Mariana picks at it with her beak and Brea leans over it to get a good look. Too good a look, actually, because void falls over and void's visor lands on the rock, sending it into Pit! Pit laughs and pulls the rock back out of his flame, giving it one last look before putting it back in.

As the sun started to set, Pit watched as most of the chicoons left the clearing and went to their homes. Pit's eyes began to droop, a feeling pit had never felt before. Pits don't sleep, and pit would spend the entire night screaming. What was this feeling?
Pit leaned against a tree as a wave of exhaustion came over it. It slid down and began to lay, before feeling something warm beneath it.
"Oh no!" he softly exclaimed. "Oh... it's only Wumbie... and she's still asleep. That's good. Goodnight, Wumbie."
Pit curls up next to Wumbie and falls asleep for the first time.

He had not yet developed object permanence, and a slight of this nature would surely shock him. Pit realizes he may have made a mistake and sets the rock down on the ground to pat Puddles on the head.
